To all those people defending the PvP part of the Quest line because it's a "PvP" Weapon. Try looking at it from other player's perspectives.
Not everyone enjoys playing PvP, so does that mean we shouldn't get the chance to unlock this weapon?
We paid the same price for the game as everyone, but are seemingly now locked out of getting certain items.
I've just had what little progress I made reset as the game decided to put me 1 v 6. How is that fair?
This is one gun that I am more than likely not going to get.

It is a PvP only weapon,will be totally useless in PvE just like in D1. Oh and I am a PvE only player.

Yes, and not everybody likes PvE. So to make it fair there shouldn't be any quests that would involve either PvE or PvP. So then we don't have quests. Everybody happy!?!?!

Yeah, and the focus of the quest is on PvE as well.

So was Thorn in D1 and that was a mainly PvP weapon. For me the PvP part of this quest will take me 6-18 months and I'm not joking,closer to 6 months if I play PvP everyday for 2-3 hours. It took me 16 months to finish the PvP part of Thorn quest in D1 and that was with the rumble glitch before they changed it,the PvE parts took less then 1 hour.

Yeah, that's quite lame. PvP in a quest is not bad, I just think they should not have loss mechanics included. That way only players with a positive KD can finish it.

I agree the loss mechanic sucks and why I really don't care since it is a 100% PvP only weapon. I would never use it so I will not actively try and get it.Now if Thorn is just like or better then it's heyday in D1 I will go for that because it could be used in PvE,not great but fun to mess with while doing patrols.
