There are actually two pvp steps. The temptation, where you have to get more kills than deaths, and sullied light, where you have to get multiple “best served cold” and “blood for blood” medals. Also apparently crucible is a massive sweat fest right now, filled with luna’s and shotguns so I’d wait for a bit and let things settle back down.
