Stuck at character selection page after switching to an older version of PS4

Hey all I renctly switched from my own ps4 (slim version), to my friend's ps4(the orignal, thick version). However after I downloaded the game, I wouldn't be able to proceed after I selected a character as the errer that says "your permission to access online multiplayer may have changed." I tried playing on several account on the same ps4 but every single one of them had the same problem. I then tried it on another of my friend's ps4, (the slim, newer version), and it worked completly fine!! My wifi was perfectly fine considering my old ps4 worked fine and it consistanly goes up to a speed of 70 mbps. I think the problem is with the different versions of ps4s. Anyone has any idea how to fix it? I tried all the methods including clearing cache, loging on/off, changing password, changing primary ps4, etc. Please help!

  • Hi again, tony. Have you checked that PS4's network settings to see if there's anything unique that was done to it, and/or different compared to the slim version?

  • Hello, Have you tied a wired Ethernet connection? The WiFi cards on the PS4 fat systems are different then the PS4 slim WiFi cards they are more subject to interference and run at a slower speed because they only support the 2.4GHz frequency.

    • I have an original PS4 (first production run) and one of the second gen (non-slim) and 2 Pro ones and none of mine have any issues.
