Can any lore people explain why we haven't investigated the Traveler at all?
I'm sitting here at the tower thinking "That giant light-ball is cracked as hell, why not fly inside and take a look around?", but I don't know if Bungie has pulled a 'Cosmodrome' and invented some reason why the Guardians never feel compelled to explore the thing they expend so much energy protecting.

6 RepliesI mean humanity during the golden age probably studied the Traveler from the outside, not wanting to take a look on what was exactly inside it's shell out of fear that they might hurt it As for right now I think it's just an honor thing, it would be kinda rude to go crawling up the Traveler only a couple year's after it just woke up from a super long power nap. I'm sure cryptarchs have studied the shard of the Traveler though, but haven't shared their findings with us because... We're the Guardian, not really our top priority at the moment
