Can someone explain how the jotunn fusion rifle supposed to drop on the bergusia forge like the percentage rate drop. This is becoming a problem where I've been forging powerful weapon frames from each character every weekly reset and never drop for me
-
It won’t drop. Weapon frame after weapon frame and it doesn’t drop. I’m must be one of the ones that won’t get it. Maybe after the nurf that makes it useless, and then I will be allowed to ENJOY IT. THANKS BUNGIE

I gave up trying to get jotunn. It's impossible to get, so everyone who has it, have fun. Because I've tried so many times, I lost count. It's a piece of crap gun anyways that will get nerfed in the future. So why bother trying to get a gun that doesn't drop at all. Piece.

This is what infuriated me about the game. I’ve ran all 3 characters since launch and completed 90% of the milestones; I main a hunter. I got the shards of galanor after it was nerfed; still no gwinsim vest; now 2 attempts on each character since the gun was available; no jotuun; I know no one cares if I quit or if I don’t buy d3 but I really think they are targeting certain players or there is a bug that gives some of us really shitty luck; it would seem if you pre-ordered both digital editions and been a loyal fan they might have a small amount of empathy; I’ve had several friends quit bc of rng and at this point I think they want us to quit. But I’m glad some of you are very lucky; I am not and I am very saddened and disappointed

Agreed, EagleEye. I’ve run a solid 12 powerful frames through Bergusia with no luck at all getting this weapon. I’m guessing this is another ‘sleeper node’ scenario; by which I mean a straight RNG roll, instead of improving odds. Even if the odds are 1-in-3, some players can roll endlessly, and not hit the weapon; though I suspect it’s more like 1-in-6, based on the drop rate I’m seeing with random players. While it sure beats the sleeper’s 1-in-40 odds for completion, you’ve only got 6 shots per week, which are much grindier completions. In conjunction with the other rare drops, it’s killed my desire to play this game; as these coveted items have nothing to do with skill. Serves as evidence that Bungie does not truly take its player-base seriously. There’s a time and place for RNG (insignificant drops, certain enemy encounters, etc.), but exotics and seals ain’t it.

There's nothing wrong with the drop rate. I've had it drop 4 times from my last 6 frames. It's pure RNG
-
I read somewhere that you have a 20% chance of it dropping everytime you do Bergusia with a powerful frame. So you have a 1 in 5 chance 6 times per week.
-
Well surprisingly enough random drops are.....random
-
The drop rate for Jotunn and Le Monarque aren’t bad at all. I’ve dropped Jotunn twice and Le Monarque four times. You’re just having superbly terrible RNG. Try making a sacrifice to RNGesus
-
It drops pretty frequently as I've seen. I got it on my first try. My friends on their 2-4 try and the forum is already full of jotunn users. If anything needs a fix, it's the dfeaming city ship/ghost/sparrow and 1000voices

No. Because soul crushing layers of RNG on top of more RNG is awesome and we all love it. You should be totally happy giving Bungie your money for the season pass and receiving scatter horn boots over and over, with the occasional terribly rolled exotic duplicate. Anthem free demo Feb 1st.

I've been seeing it drop a lot... for other people

Second frame. It drops frequent. Seen a number of friends get theirs with just a few frames.
-
Six members of our clan have dropped it from the heavy machine gun frame. I did it yesterday on one and I hadn't even unlocked Izanami.

Exact drop rate I don't know, but I can tell you it only drops on the powerful frames acquired from ballistic logs. First week it dropped on the 5th frame, which was the 1st ballistic log frame on my third character. I've done every ballistic log on every character since, and haven't received it again.
