....and here we are.
I warned you that if they didn’t either remove cores from infusion, or make them freely farmable that they’d break the game and player patience.
Instead they dismissed my feedback (and detailed explanation as to why this system would never work and never be accepted), and dug their heels in. Made a half-assed effort at making them more available...and then went radio silent.
Now—as I predicted—-you have a blossoming player revolt on your hands.
Only—-unlike the Eververse riot—-your players have every right to be pissed off at Bungie and how badly this has been handled.
Four months of uniformly negative feedback about cores-for-infusion has been ignored.
And now you guys are staring down the twin barrels of Anthem and The Division 2.
Good luck.
I warned you guys.....

Apart from spider bounties, cores are completely RNG, the people who come on defending the system have either been playing since day one or have had really good luck. You can try all the recommened methods, even the press A press X simulator, but if your luck is bad you've completely wasted your time. this has nothing to do with casual or hardcore, this has everything to do with a broken system which has removed any fun in build diversity/refinement. I just cant be doing with the press A press X simulator anymore, looking forward to seeing how Bioware and Massive will implement their systems.
