Try all different weapons till you find what works best for you. Keep in mind a lot of players are running Sg's cause they (not all but some) can only play well with the meta so dont get scared. Just shoot um :)

Thank you

1. Don't play Crucible PvP in the first place. 2. If you disregard Tip #1, then keep grinding PvE until you get the perfect god roll OP weapon that you can use to dominate noobs in Crucible PvP.

Definitely keep your eyes locked on the radar. Keep enemies at the edge of the radar to give you plenty of time to combat shotgunners. More tips. Go into private matches to learn names of map locations, good for when you play in a team. That can help with map knowledge and then you can also practice jumps and how to travel around the map. Playing in the mornings can be easier than in the evenings. Using meta weapons and a strong offensive super definitely helps. If you cant find good people in LFG to play with, its probably because their skill level is better than yours (no offense meant), I also run into this issue. I have an approximate 1.2 KD and 1.7 KDA. I try to use solo matchmaking help me find friends. If you play a match and you like one or two people you played with, send them a "GG" good game, and ask if they would like to party up and play together. Why I think this is a good idea, Bungie matched you up with them, they probably have a similar skill level and are in a similar spot in grinding glory. Learn strategies for "Countdown", usually kill an enemy and rush the survivors. Don't arm the bomb unless you kill one of theirs first. Practice in Rumble or QP new weapons and supers. Probably common knowledge, If you are the only one with a super, that can be a great time to use yours. No one around to counter you easily with a super of their own. Also you start generating orbs for your team mates so they can get their supers going. Watch Youtube strategy videos from Coolguy, True Vanguard, CammyCakes, Aztecross Gaming Good video tips: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lkQ5ovg4t4 https://youtu.be/IwjvqF1dh5o Super Mods, weapon scavenger perks, targeting Mods, Reload Mods, Dexterity and resilience Mods. Masterwork armor for more defense while in super form My load out that got me Luna’s last season was: Bubble titan with Armamentarium, two suppressor nades neutralize roaming supers, takes practice Bygones: Headseaker and Kill clip, drifter has a good one, just need one reset. Telesto: Just nasty. I have two fusion scavenger perks so I get 3 ammo per brick. Play of the game: Blast masterwork, Volatile Launch, Prox Mines.

Spend more time looking at the radar than the screen

Shotguns and faster reaction times. Or, passively play and hope the other team are not mad rushers. Your best friend is your radar. Like, seriously. Radar and fireteam awareness is key in this game. If you are finding yourself taking a turn and getting blasted, then that is truly is the biggest flaw. I went with a pulse and hand cannon for most of this season to this point, but was bored. I adapted and joined in on the shotgun meta to open up more gameplay. It is not as easy as everyone makes it out to be, but after a day, with quick mobility... it starts to fall into place. A lot of things also depends on your preferred class. Titans have a lot of viable options per abilities that can control an area of the map. Warlocks and shotguns have always gone together well. Hunters... well, you have to be quick and sneaky. I take it you do not like precision gaming, or just tired of the meta? That sad part about this game currently is if you want to go against the meta, your skill level needs to be higher to way higher than than those running the meta. Fusions? Have to plan out your charge time.. Hand cannons? Have to be better at strafing and hitting crits. Snipers? Precision. Autos? Same as hand cannon situation. Pulses? Same as hand cannons. Blast furnace, go figure, bygone, and inaugural address are your main options. Scouts? Depends on the map. Side arms? They are a back peddle while hitting crits type of weapon. Hopefully next week will open up the game because it is stale as can be right now. But work on your radar awareness and do not be the defensive player. Be offensive, fight for map control, and make other players back up.
