WTF.. afk 80 light on the forge
I just came back to destiny, wtf is up with the forge. I tried 10 times and every time there was someone there afk in light gear under 100.
I'm assuming that doing for the materials but they should be banned for this shit.

If your below 600 then your too low to do forges and people are afk farming for the lore which is a very rare drop. This isn't a problem as they purposely drop their light so that it doesn't affect anyone who'll have any chance of completing the forge

They bring their light down, leave their control on in matchmaking with a fan on, and leave it there all night. You come back, and BAM. Every black armory paper lore. Bungies fixing it to make it so that only completions can give you papers

Forge has light level matchmaking. Everything below the minimum 610 light gets placed in the "you are too low" bracket.

1. You should even be attempting forges, you should be around 605 to even have a chance. 2. There’s light level matchmaking, if your below level 600 (Which you are) it’ll pair you up with others below 600. A lot of people purposely lower their level to AFK farm without missing anyone else up as if your below 600 your probably AFK farming too. Point it, stay out of the forges till your higher level. All your doing is asking to be carried at that point

Its probably to collect the lore as it drops alot more if u go in at 400 or lower. Bungie's RNG is bugged and its apparently the best way to collect it.

They are actually making it so you need a completion of the forge to get a lore drop so the free loaders should dwindle a bit. There will always be the few that troll though and bungie can’t fix stupid so who knows.

Once you hit 600 or so you should start matching with people a bit higher than yourself. The folks doing this at very low light are specifically trying to about being marched with anyone legitimately trying to run the forge.

2 RepliesThe reasoning behind this is, if you put on that low of a gear set, you're not supposed to be matchmade with higher players. Most likely people didnt get the message that lore doesnt drop for a non completion now.

Its because of your low power level. The first forge the lowest recommended power is about 605

How did you get matched with them, the forge is set to match you with people of the same level. They make themselves low so they get matched with people who are also farming lore
