Hey Naomhan. Thanks for reporting this issue to us. You may want to perform a scan and repair in the Battle.net app to see if that may help with your issue. If that doesn't work, delete the following local cache/settings directories:

– %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC
More information:
*WARNING* Deleting these will cause you to lose persisted settings, such as logged in users, keybinds and graphics settings in Destiny, etc. The directory names above are actual paths that can be used in Windows Explorer. For example, if you enter "%PROGRAMDATA%" in the Windows Explorer address bar, it will automatically take you to C:\ProgramData (default), which is a hidden directory.

looks like a server issue. its happening to me only during higher player counts. i also get alot of "contacting server" and get kicked back into orbit during this peeks.

I would reinstall it from scratch. The game progress is stored on servers anyway. I would go: Win+R (Win is the button with the Windows logo) Run: appwiz.cpl There I would search for both Battle.net and Destiny, remove them both. Finally I would go to the Battle.net website to download the installer again and download Destiny from it. DRM is often glitchy, publishers don't like this platform.
