You must restart the application using Blizzard's Battle.net app in order to play Destiny 2.

fourth time this has happened in the course of 2, 3 days, why is this happening, it's not my internet, and I refuse to believe its my PC, does it have anything to do with settings or what?

    • Hey Naomhan. Thanks for reporting this issue to us. You may want to perform a scan and repair in the Battle.net app to see if that may help with your issue. If that doesn't work, delete the following local cache/settings directories:

– %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC
More information:
*WARNING* Deleting these will cause you to lose persisted settings, such as logged in users, keybinds and graphics settings in Destiny, etc. The directory names above are actual paths that can be used in Windows Explorer. For example, if you enter "%PROGRAMDATA%" in the Windows Explorer address bar, it will automatically take you to C:\ProgramData (default), which is a hidden directory.

• I would reinstall it from scratch. The game progress is stored on servers anyway. I would go: Win+R (Win is the button with the Windows logo) Run: appwiz.cpl There I would search for both Battle.net and Destiny, remove them both. Finally I would go to the Battle.net website to download the installer again and download Destiny from it. DRM is often glitchy, publishers don't like this platform.
