That was my first thought, but I wanted to connect it to in game lore, and I’m still convinced that the Infinite Forest is completely underutilized and misunderstood. As for the Vex simulating us, I was tearing my hair out about that one actually. I sort of convinced myself that the Vex were only simulating the idea of the Traveler’s light, rather than the real thing. Maybe that’s a little on the doubtful side, but... [spoiler]I accidentally deleted this entire thing and had to rewrite it because on the Bungie app, if you click anywhere outside the box, your post goes away forever. I reallllly didn’t want to scrap it again.[/spoiler]
