I think it’s op yeah. I just don’t see the point in merging telesto with this around. I despise telesto. It’s easy cheesy trash, and so is Jotunn. I like how players in here are trying hard to defend it by insulting those who say it’s op, “can’t strafe”, or whatever. I strafe at all times almost. I constantly make comments about other players along the lines of “try strafing next time bud”, etc. I find in close to mid distance, since your natural instinct is initially to prepare to fight, that most players will not react with the split second timing necessary to escape a Jotunn shot that was precharged when they round the corner or whatever. It moves fast, don’t even lie. Plus the tracking is very strong for something with so much ammo availability. It is a straight easy cheesy noob crutch, and if you’re defending it, then you probably defend telesto as well. Yet you try to be insulting to those that call Jotunn broken ? How about face the fact that you are what you are, and quit trying to dump your flaws onto others, and what you are is someone who either needs a crutch, or has no desire to play a game that rewards skill, is a bad sport, skilled or not, and doesn’t get the gratification from skill based kills that someone would who likely despises Jotunn every bit as much as telesto, as they should. Call us whiners ir whatever, easy cheesy crutch weapons are easy cheesy crutch weapons. So if you want Jotunn as is, just admit it, and face what you are and why you want what you want and quit acting like your the ones taking the high road by telling people to quit whining. If people didn’t whine then crucible would still be a Prometheus fest. You are what you are, stop acting like you’re the noble ones ok. You’re not, and it’s clear that you don’t have a desire for real skill based combat. I am where I am skill wise, and I’m fine with that. Many are better. That’s ok. I still want to be rewarded with kills and wins on merit. I don’t like when matches are skewed due to use of no skill weapons, you do, so just be what you are. I never have used telesto. I refuse to because of principle. I can’t very well complain and then commit the same sin and have my complaint mean a damn thing. So you can’t point finger st all of us for using telesto and thus having no say so. Not everyone is like that. Some have principle. Too bad, I know that sucks to hear for ya.

The gun is very inconsistent to say the least. Very very far from being OP. Fun to use, slow charge time, hits hard when the hits register. I’d say it’s 6.5 out of 10.

I am so happy people are using Jotunn a bunch. It’s soooo easy to kill them. Just stay agile and close in on the kill.

Titan with lion rampant I will literally rain down death with it. Pair it with my HC for clean up. If you see it coming it’s very hard to not kill someone with it but with lion rampants I’m usually super high in the air jumping over ppl so I can shoot them with it. Easily countered in close range if you’re decent and keep moving. Charge time his horrendous with means if they miss the first shot unless you’re terrible you’ll get the kill Just stick close and jump or strafe

It's funny as someone who has an uses this gun on a regular basis... I have to disagree it's farrrrrrr from op the tracking and hit reg is do -blam!-ed... there are times where I will hit someone direct and it barely breaks there shield then other times I hit the ground and they die lmao... the tracking close range is garbage long range is good if they arnt the straffing type.. if you're standing still in PvP you deserved to get trashed on. You litterally need to move a foot to the side and it will miss

You ran the hard vault 18 times. So the date you started playing has nothing to do with the point you are trying to make. It took me over a year of active play, raiding every week on 3 characters, nightfalls, strikes etc etc before I dropped gally. In over 3000 hours I never dropped the icebreaker. How are people complaining after only a week or so?

Oh for goodness sake grow up! Firstly you use Telesto so you invalidate yourself from the get-go and secondly try dodging or using cover. I am sick of everything getting nerfed because of people like you.

So ur telling me that jotunn is the same as 1k voices, or wardcliff coil, or queenbreaker, or sleeper, or thunderlord, or colony. What if colony or 1k voices used special ammo, jotunn wouldn’t even stand a chance against those. And if you miss the 1st shot which you have a high chance to, ur screwed because s good player won’t let you getaway with shooting something with that long of a charge time twice. I think what your post really proves, is that the availability of previously illegal substances has broken your brain.

It's ridiculously easy to avoid the shot.. like not even hard at all. Move left, right or jump.. seriously that's all it takes to avoid it. That and it's only a kill if the shot lands perfectly. Can't tell you how many land just short or off center and do zero damage. I was beating it with a Loaded Question. Sniper, HC, Shotgun... Perhaps use the old thumbs?

So when will the kinderguardians in this community realize nerfs don't work? Because when you need something, people will find other things to use.
