EXOTIC drop rates SUCK
So 30 clears of last wish no voices. seeing people get it 2,3 weeks in a row but me nah. 46 radiant frame completions of the new forge nope no fusion rifle for me. Explain to me why im playing this game? I grind and grind and grind for an item the way its suppose to drop and all im doing is waisting my time apparently.
There needs to be some kind of system so increase the chances of getting the when u do not get things from specific places. Im getting very tired of login in just to grind forges every day till i run out of reports for frames then running last wish 3 times a week and get nothing for my time but a headache. Activision is gone but im not seeing the light at the end of this tunnel.

you clearly never played d1... Had 1000 hours and still didnt have every exotic weapons... i got pretty much every world exotic Within 500 hours and as far as raid exotics go... me and my friend got 1k first try he did so before the buff to the drop rates... just grind lol.

@Chronos - You are right. Still it sucks. We are now in December 2019, and drop rate is completely out of control. Yesterday I have done 3 times with clan-mates Nightfall 950, score 102k - Exotic drop for me 0, for my teammates 1-2 during the nightfall. I dont even remember when I have received last exotic from the game, during the gameplay (not counting the Xur and quests). Looks like drop rate is higher when people are playing more ?? - so stupid.

Not to beat the dead dog to long, but i feel the same way all work and no reward slowly takes the fun out and turns into work. I would like to spend my time enjoying the game but grinding is just grinding the fun is gone.

I've seen a very significant increase in exotic drop rates in the last month or two in my experience. Running last wish yesterday ONE player received 4 exotics while the rest of us got around 2 or 3 total. I do agree though If you haven't received one in maybe 6 hours of play there should be some kind of fail safe in place to keep you going.

I just got a new exotic yesterday, and guess how I got it? Not from the raid, not from the nightfall, not from doing escalation protocol 80 times, not from completing my weekly milestones, no no no... I got an exotic to drop from defeating some random RED BAR wizard in the tangled shore. The drop rate of exotics is so stupid, literally, anyone could just load into the game one day, head to like Mars or something, and kill some random enemy and get a new exotic. This is a problem, a big problem.

2 RepliesHow do you have 46 radiant completions of Bergusia when the forge has been out for 2 weeks? 2 ballistic logs per character × 3 characters × 2 weeks = 12 frames. Are people this brain dead with their exaggerations?

you know jotunn only drops from [u]powerful[/u] frames. so because this is the second week it has been out, you have only had 12 chances to get

1 ReplyThere’s no light at the end of the tunnel just a group of shitters who thinks watering down the loot will somehow extend the life of a dying game. Black Armory, or “lack farmery” as my friend calls it, shows just how little effort they are putting in to D2 after Forsaken. There’s nothing indicating that this will change when D3 releases but they sure talk a good game when it’s time to sell you something. Unfortunately I think the best of this franchise is behind us. 😐

I got pretty lucky i got my favorite armor piece coyote after a week. Probably spent six hours a day every day(no life). But it was luck that i got the piece i wanted. I like rng because when i finally pull that queenbreakers it will feel all the more amazing. Instead of just getting it in some exotic quest that takes three days to complete and sends you on the dumbest tasks.

I'm ok with it, they feel rare again. I play maybe an hour or two a day, so maybe 1-2 exotics per week.

1 ReplyI totally feel you on this R,N,G is shocking I have completed sotp 36 times and not one anarchy don’t get me started with last wish or the forge there has to be something to equal everyone’s rng out but I see the same people week in week out dropping the same weapons every week over and over my brother has 12 1000 voices sitting in his vault 3 anarchy drops and 5 jotunn don’t get me wrong I like to work for stuff I get 100% satisfaction out of the game but don’t know how long there gonna keep players the way things are and tbh anthem is out in a month

The drop rates don't actually seem to suck, it is more so the lack of an actually smart RNG system that sucks. The amount of duplicates you get is just plain stupid, especially duplicate weapons. The armour at least has the excuse of being a different roll, but getting a second exotic weapon is absolutely worthless, even when leveling up since they only drop at your light level. I have no problem with only potentially getting one exotic a week, I have an issue with getting the same exotic for three weeks in a row, or getting a year 1 exotic when I am no where near done collecting year 2 exotics.

Exotics are s'posed to be exotic, buddy. Besides, the problem isn't that the drop rates suck, the problem is your luck sucks. I've gotten at least 3-4 Forsaken exotics in the past few weeks. 2 of those in this week alone. I haven't gone for 1k Voices yet, but I know how strong it is, so I know that it is worth however low of a drop rate it has. You don't wanna grind a game, don't buy a grindy game.

You can only get it from Powerful frames so at max you should only have had 18 chances (Two on each character) or if you did the glitch which upgrades the previous weeks frame then you had 27 chances Edit: Did a raid today and got the last exotic I needed for my Titan and Anarchy. Pretty happy about that, now if only 1k Voices would drop

1 ReplySee, I don't have a problem with exotic drop rates, but the duplicates are seriously pissing me off. I've gotten 5-6 exotics every week for the past 3 weeks and they have all been duplicates. I don't know how I'm getting so many exotics, but I really don't care at this point because nothing valuable is dropping. I only need ursa furiosa for my titan but they WILL NOT DROP.

1 ReplyIf you are playing this game specifically for Jötunn and 1000 Voices, then you probably shouldn’t be playing at all. You should be playing a game because you enjoy it, not because you want to experience a super small part of the entirety.
