Hello CK. Appreciate you reaching out to us about your issues. #canary You may want to review our MARIONBERRY and CANARY articles for more information about those issues. If you are on a wireless connection, a wired connection is recommended to play Destiny. If your internet connection is being used for anything else besides playing the game, such as watching a movie or streaming, it's recommended to quit those programs. You may want to review our guide on improving latency and packet loss to see if that might help.

  • Thanks for the assistance! I'll review the articles again. If it helps: my connection is only being used by my Xbox at these times and is hard-wired into the Google Fiber modem. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like me to test! Thanks again.

CK I don’t have any tips for you but I too live in KC and I also have Google Fiber. I play on PlayStation and I can tell you I almost never get error codes with Destiny so I doubt it is the Google service. I do find it odd that your upload speed is low though. My GF speed tests are always around 9xx up and down. I also did not set up a DMZ nor did I use any port forwarding. The only setting I set was to make sure UPnP was enabled on the GF network box. Have you tried power cycling the GF network box?

  • Fascinating, thanks much for the additional context for KC! I went as far as a factory reset on my networking box so I'm not sure why my upload is so slow on my Xbox. That's a really interesting point...
