When was Saint-14 the titan vanguard?
I was just reading the Cayde-6 lore book and it is mentioned in there that when Andal Brask joined the vanguard Zavala and Osiris were already a part of it.
So when did Saint-14 stop being a vanguard? I’ve always thought that he stopped after he went looking for Osiris and never returned.

2 RepliesYou have your facts mixed up. Saint-14 was the first Vanguard leader. Osiris took up the mantle after that. Zavala followed up with Ikora and Cayde after Osiris went to the Forest to find Saint-14, his mentor. Timeline wise, a lot happened quickly. But back then? It was a lot more chaotic and guardians went where they were most needed rather than the way things are now. If Zavala was needed on a new front, ect? My titan would gladly volunteer to become a vanguard member just to keep things going. Same as my hunter currently for Cayde and likewise my warlock for Ikora.

2 RepliesI asked this question a while back and the answer is he was the first vanguard commander and probably gave up his position to Zavala when he left to go on his crusade
