It's probably Bioware's own fault, but I still can't forgive that they chose to go through entirely with yet another mediocre generic "shared world" live service game with EA, and in the while let Mass Effect wither and die. By affiliation, EA can eat a fat chode.

Ea because ik their gonna screw anthem up

Edited by Capt Explodabob: 1/17/2019 7:22:07 PMThat's like asking who was worse between Hitler and Stalin. I'll go with Activision because it seems like they're more interested in shitting out microtransactions vendors than developing and publishing actual games, whereas it's a mixed bag with EA—you might get an RPG or you might get a slot machine disguised as a shitty sports game.

Edited by blade329: 1/18/2019 4:51:11 PMI chose EA after what they did to the Madden franchise and how they screwed over Titanfall 2. That's a garbage company. Konami should get dishonorable mention. Who in the heck charges $10 for an extra save slot?

Edited by Swiftlock: 1/18/2019 7:52:46 PMSay what you want about EA or Activision... But at least neither of them leave cherished game franchises to rot only to put beloved game characters from those franchises on pachinko machines just to taunt the fans. Stupid Konami.

1 ReplyBoth are pretty much the same, they ruin any developer under their wing for the sake of money. Not about to pick which is the worst as if one should get a pass for it. Also RIP in peace deadspace and prototype.

Activision is horrible.
-
1 ReplyThey are both -blam!-ing monsters. Companies deserve to die.
-
EA at least gave us Access Activision has made everything they touch worse.
-
Bethesda
-
Activision is smarter about how they put their sleezy tactics into games. I find that worse than the dip shit EA that just blatantly cash grab their games.
-
I think EA edge this one out. As shitty as the red dot thing is, EA have completely corrupted the Sports genre.
-
They're both in the shadowy place... you must never go there, Simba!
-
I'd call it a draw.
-
2 RepliesEA recently, but if you asked me a few years earlier I might’ve said Activision
-
I'm gonna have to say EA just by personal experience

Well EA pushes Ultimate Team more than ever, shuts down studios that they screw over in one way or another, publish stuff that's half baked and encourage it, -blam!- around with release dates (Battlefield V, anyone?), And severely underutilized some IPs that would fill kind of a vaccum (Burnout). Activision is more dumb than malicious, like season passes still being a thing, bad servers for certain releases, dumb shit being sold as microtransactions, and being dumb with certain IPs, as well, mostly in the form of oversaturating the shit out of Skylanders, making the later games extremely bad (where the first 2 are actually pretty decent). I'll say EA because while they have a few really good things (EA/Origin access, which I use Origin access for discounts and not needing to buy older stuff or some indie games that are on Origin), but MUT/FUT/HUT/Whatever NBA is UT, on top of how they've treated Titanfall and other series is prob worse than Activision.

I can count all my toes and fingers for every franchise EA has killed and bastardized throughout the years. They killed some of my favorites like Need For Speed, Command and Conquer, and now Battlefront with their stupid pay-to-win and loot box shit that is killing the industry. Command and Conquer coming back as a mobile-only game to squeeze whatever money they can out of the name alone was the biggest slap to the face I've ever felt by this company and for that I will not give them a single penny anymore.

The more news I get about Activision the more my answer changes to them. Still EA for now, but Anthem has the potential to change my opinion somewhat about them

All things considered I'd have to go with EA
