Telesto nerf why jotuun can track and cross map

This is absolutely ridiculous to nerf telesto when jotuun can do the same thing but has tracking leave the telesto alone!!!!

    Very true Edit: awww, it beat your not forgotten? Aww. Some people just want to use an op weapon just like you but dont have the time to grind because they have real life responsibilities as well. Shut up

      Jotunn is nowhere near the same level as telesto. Jotunn is inconsistent and if you move 5 inches either way it misses. Don't stand still and you're fine.

    • Its replacing telesto, why does it matter? It will still result in a death/trade against luna/nf just like telesto.

    • You can only get cross mapped by the jötunn if you are literally standing still. Telesto is receiving a nerf because it actually does more damage than it should be doing

    • Telesto isn't really getting a nerf. It's getting a fix in PvP because it was doing much more damage than other fusion rifles in its archetype. In PvE it's actually getting a damage buff though.

        • I got Jotunn yesterday and after using it all day I have to say it's not as broken as people say. It's good, but it's so inconsistent, that it's not really worth using in place of a shotgun or something. I used in it quickplay and competitive and it's good in quickplay, but not so much in comp. In comp, you have a lot less ammo (even when running double scavenger perks) and because you will be missing a lot of your shots, you will probably not have much special ammo and be shotgunned very often. In quickplay Jotunn is fun, but Telesto is currently just way better. People say that the tracking is OP on Jotunn, but most of the time Jotunn will attempt to track people through walls and make you waste ammo. Or it will try and do this complex flight pattern while tracking someone and hit the wall or the ground. Think of it like the Mountaintop with a charge time, a slight tracking ability (which can also be a downside), and slightly more damage. It's not broken at all and is very inconsistent. I would not recommend it to anyone for things like comp. But, in quickplay it is fun; especially on more open maps where there are fewer things to get in the way of the shot. If you ever need to counter the Jotunn, just try and get up close. Either that or use cover and bait the person's shots. The tracking is really bad up close and the projectile has travel time.

            • They aren't nerfing Telesto, they're fixing it, it's bugged. Besides Jotunn isn't even a problem, it's VERY easy to dodge same with Telesto but Jotunn is as simple as just jumping left or right, the tracking isn't really that good.

              • Jotunn is, at best, a B+. It’s wholly inconsistent. Telesto is solidly an A+.
