I skipped on the annual pass since I didn't want to buy anything before knowing if it was good.
Paying $30 after I just spent $60 on forsaken did not feel good so I decided to wait.
Now that the first season is pretty much over do you feel like it's worth it?

At this point ...... no

So far, it's a No from me.

If you play a lot and enjoy a grind, yes.
-
They all say no but the season pass has 2 more seasons in it so id say buy it
-
So far, yes. But we’ve seen at most 1/3rd of its content, so it’s hard to say now
-
The first season will still carry on until around March, so it isn’t over just yet. To answer your question though, yes. The activities are fun, the loot is cool, and we get to fight a servitor inside of a god damn mech suit. If that isn’t worth $10, I don’t know what is.

Edited by Ahabb43: 1/17/2019 10:28:13 PMThe weapons are great but the forges are dull. Raid is fun. If you are below 600 you can't do anything. Below 635/640 raid is a carry. It's easy to decide though if you think of each piece as $10. Do you want some really good weapons and a fun raid for the price of an exotic emote/sparrow? If you like the current state of the game, give them money. If not, join the people burned and make them earn you back.

1 ReplyNo. It's not, man. I regret buying it and can't shake that feeling like I got hustled. Bunch of 5 hour quests doing old public events over and over to unlock a new activity (forges) which, while fun, takes about 5 minutes per run to complete, and a grand total of THREE new exotics, 2 of which are gated behind soul crushing RNG. Not even close to worth it, I wish I could tell you different because I love destiny but I'm not gonna lie to you. Don't let the brainwashed Bungie fanboys fool you, the season pass is a blatant cash grab. Put that money towards a new game.

It more endgame, so if you liked forsaken’s content last 550 light then you should probably buy it, and on top of that there is a lot more on the way (Also the loot is really good, Black armory gear is amazing)
-
I love the forges, totally worth it to me.
-
It depends. If you like grinding constantly, then yeah, it’s worth it.
-
3 RepliesIf you want an endless grind of content you already owned to be able to play 4x 10min forges and a 20min mini-raid, then yes. Otherwise, wait for more content to be released before jumping in.
-
1 ReplyUnpopular opinion, but yes. Also, these forums are really toxic so asking about it else where will probably net you better results.
-
2 RepliesIt's for the pve player. If you mainly play pvp like myself, it's a waste of $30
-
I've enjoyed it so far, and have not encountered any of the problems with exotic drops, time gating, or rare bounty issues that others have.

Edited by AceMetrik: 1/16/2019 10:12:16 AMYou get a year worth of content people without the pass don't get. The forges get old like everything does, but you're missing out on some pretty sweet forge specific weapons/armour and exotics. Plus all of the other seasons during the year. Forsaken put the game where it always should have been. The season pass just adds to it. And the new raid lair isn't 20minutes long. Watch a video of the content/raid if you're indecisive. I mean, it seems that bungie have tried to set it up so that the game doesn't get stale. I play this very regularly, and I've only been getting bored the last couple of weeks. And the next season is right around the corner. So it's fresh content right about when you'd need it I guess.

2 RepliesIt's hard to say if the entire $30 is worth it since we only have about 1/3 of the content so far. In terms of the content we have, is it worth the 1/3 of the price? Yes. The Black Armory starts pretty slowly, but once you get to a high enough level to do forges (I'd recommend 620-630 for the first 3, 650 for Bergusia) it gets interesting, and you gain the ability to 1) hunt for god rolls and 2) choose which weapons you want as "Powerful" gear (which means you can essentially help yourself along with the RNG of leveling up). Finally, the exotics are amazing. Le Monarque is my current favorite weapon in the game, Jotunn is a lot of fun, and Izanagi's Burden is apparently becoming popular in Gambit and a few other parts of the game. The new raid has awesome looking armor (as do the forges, actually), and the raid shotgun is basically Ikelos 2.0 (and is a primary, so you can be flexible with your exotic in the special or heavy slot). There's no real rush to pick up the content, but it's a pretty good addition to the game, and we've got The Last Word coming up.

Very much so. Do it before you miss out
-
Well to be honest I think it is worth it. But I do enjoy the grind and everything. I buy regardless of what the forum or what others say I try it myself and make my own opinion.
-
It felt like a lot of content because it was all time gated and the "quest" to unlock the Izanagi forge is just a mindless slog. Really it's not a lot of stuff to do. You can ignore the first 3 forges now, the raid is basically just a slightly more complex strike, the black armory weapons really aren't all that good, it's not worth it. But it's Destiny, the whole thing isn't really worth it. It's fun to play with friends, and that's why they told us friendship is the real endgame. Cause there isn't one in game.
-
Yes, you'll be all over it like a hobo on a hotdog👨🎨🌭if you enjoy the Destiny grind and gameplay.🙃

1 ReplyWe've only seen a third of what the annual pass holds, and if you've seen the forums, it hasn't been a good start.
