Hey dude, love the work you do. Any chance can something be done about people jumping out of matches. I just had 2 matches where someone dropped out. The last one I was on my own for it all.

How can I improve if they do not put good players in my team, from 4400 I go for 2800 or they cut me with mediocre or I do not have the complete team or game of network errors WHAT ELSE CAN I DO

Bungie needs to re think match making to something more simple, such as if you have reached legend then you should be in a pool that has done this, if youve reached legend 3 x then in a pool that done that, my person experience is that i want the weapons/triumps for reaching legend and there's nothing more frustrating than winning 2 loosing 2 constantly due to poor match making. Also coming across players that have the guns and have reached legend multiple times that destroy you, when the match making is supposed match you with people at your rank. My feelings about a game like destiny is that if your not achieving, even through grinding that people wont play

My matchmaking experience for the past two seasons has consistently been mostly against people with 500-1000 more glory points than I have once I get past fabled. The only thing I can think of is my triumphs in Crucible being weighed in the matchmaking system to put me against people with similar triumphs but vastly different glory rank.

I'm afraid it hasn't improved the situation, as of this post there are still matches being made which put players of vastly different skill levels against each other. Of all the competitive matches I've played in, only 10% have resulted in a 4-3 win/loss. The vast majority are either a 4-1 or a 4-0.

This is a damn lie idk what it is that bungie does on a weekly basis i got from dominating in the crucible then the following week im on bad team after bad team and i dont change my gear or my guns or my play style and your telling me i go from great to a bum over night my res is at 9 and im getting one shotted w mida multi tool or been yet i use a weapon like the graviton lance whichnis by far one of the most stable gunsnin game and i aim down sites and the gun is jumping all over the place also y did u design the controller program to put the directional control and sprint on the same damn joystick and the fact that our radar is complete garbage and the kneeling removes u from the radar that is the stupidest thing i have ever seen in a 1 st person shooter do you underatnd that we cant see 360 degrees right?and also while im -blam!- make the -blam!-ing game more accessable to the working class ehom pay for the -blam!-ing shit tis constant grind shit who got time for that and to still work and pay our bills and play ur damn game -blam!- you bungie

The group selection system works as gambling. You cannot win if three 10lv players without equipment are added to your team, and in the opposite added four Striker titans with one-eyed masks. You cannot win if your team is simply not experienced enough players, and the advantage is often very obvious. One player cannot turn the tide of the battle if he alone is weaker than the entire opposing team combined (even if his abilities are comparable with each member of the opposing team individually, except for the use of cheats, which happens very often in my opinion, in particular network connection exploits). Not even the group’s premade helps. Because against you put either too weak or too strong players. A situation in which the equal strength of teams is too rare (in my statistics less than 3%). As a result, you can win 10 matches in a row or lose 10 matches in a row and almost nothing depends on you. You will gain 1k + Glory rank and immediately lose everything to 0. Glory rank is a bad criterion for selecting players because it reflects players' skills very poorly - only luck (or rather random chance). To select players, a more complex, differentiated criterion should be used, similar to what is used to assign players to destinytracker.

Idk if this update isn't working but I've been trying to climb from Brave II/Brave III to Fabled for the past 3 days; I've played somewhere around 40-50 matches in Comp and I can say for a fact I'm not facing off against players at a similar Glory rank. I am playing with guys in Brave for the most part, but then, unless there's a Recluse cheese that allows Brave players to get a Fabled weapon, my opponents, for the most part, are not in the same or similar Glory ranking as me. It's honestly ridiculous, most of the enemy teams tend to be premade, people in a higher glory rank, or really good players (as in KDA's of 10, 13, 17) carrying a few average players, while the people I'm matching with tend to fall under the below 1.0 KDA which practically cripples the team because if you have one really bad player in a 4v4, unless you're really good you can't make up for them. I really hope you fix Crucible because I used to love playing it but Comp is just disgusting and it's worse considering that some of the best pinnacle weapons in the game require you to grind it with it's absolutely broken matchmaking. (And no, solo players adjusting when they play and being forced to LFG is not a solution)

Can you please remove countdown survival and control from the competitive playlist makes me angry that no one is capturing or planting the bomb as from now on I'm not playing D2 hell resident evil 2 remake and days gone are more enjoyable....

I have played a lot of "competitive" games in my day and by far Destiny 2's version of "competitive" is the most broken. There are a couple of points I'd like to make on why... 1. As a solo player, I should not be matched against 4 stacks 17 games in a row now. It's honestly ridiculous. If I'm getting stacked against 4 mans that often it means that there are enough 4 man groups to face each other. 2. There are a couple of Exotics in this game that are absolutely unfair. One eyed mask being the one that comes to mind most abundantly. How has this thing not been fixed yet? I have spent over 150$ on this game since release, and besides that this game was not anything we were promised on release I have continued to play and believe in the Destiny franchise, BUT come on with One eyed mask. How many people are out there complaining about this exotic, its ridiculous, google it and just see what comes up. It is completely unfair and about 90% of people in the crucible are now Titans with OEM. 3. Supers are WAY to strong as it is (which I'm not going to rant about) but some supers in general (Bottom tree ARC TITAN) are insanely strong. These guys walk around the map for what seems like an eternity, and guess what...most titans in competitive now are Bottom arc titans....hmmmm 4. Lord of Wolves (For real Bungie? This is still a thing 3 months later, how is that possible? Are there not people working on balancing issues? Take the gun out of the game for CHRIST sake if it's broken. I feel like this is common sense.) 5. Connectivity. This game has by far the worst connection on pvp servers that I have ever played on. BY FAR. How is it 2019 and we are still not on dedicated servers. Why every match is there a clan from some Latin or European country (I can tell by clan tags) ghosting all over my screen?( I am east coast US) I melee with no regs, I ultimate with no regs, I snipe with no regs...and all of a sudden this guy teleports behind me and kills me? I don't get it man, this game is supposed to be enjoyable, and no offense but its not like you don't snake our money every time a DLC drops. So why can't my money go towards things that I the player, I the PAYER feel like the money should go towards. Please, help us out. We are all just looking for a fun competitive experience. We all understand that we can't win every game and that we are all not going to hit legend. But it would be nice to play against other solo players like my self or just play vs people who aren't teleporting one eyed mask bottom tree arc striders....please Until some of these issues are fixed I am DONE with "competitive". I hope other people read this and stop playing too, so that maybe we can get the changes and balancing we need to make things fair.

it's great that you are trying to improve on this horrible game type, but it still falls way short. between the laggy players, the players that quit or are AFK, and the inability to match solo players with just other solo players make it hard for us "little guys" that try just to play for fun. I just got band from leaving 2 games in a row, both of witch other people left first. Why do i need to stay in a uneven game until the end just to get beaten, and then penalized for it by losing my glory points. even if you take away the loss of points for losing matches it would still be considered competitive because you are competing for them points that you only get for a win. Dose't take away from the concept what so ever. It gives us casual players a chance at the exclusive loot. seems like certain things in the game actually discriminate the solo players, this for sure being one of them. But i'm just one person venting about something that i don't agree with. If someone actually reads this over at Bungie, thank you for reading.

I gladly take the time out and the loss of sticking around in a total slaughter because you match make platinum players with copper or less. Yea i am not the best player no where near it but most of my matches are either against premade fire teams or people drop out. As of today i am no longer going to play Competitive pvp again.

Grouping by Glory is idiotic. Not being able to fill a team not only with dropouts, but just at the beginning! You start and end with 3??? It's broken. Just make it so you can't go back a rank. But losing 4 in a row because of quitters, errors or teams versus solo players is ridiculous.

Sick to death of the match making in competitive play. Why can't places be filled when players leave? It's not rocket science, dont punish them if they join a losing side.

I'm at 1000 glory and stuck. Every game I play is against people who already have lunas howl. I will not be able to get to Fabled because of these 1400 glory lunas sleazebags. Please find a way to fix this. Oh,and one more thing. If you are going to pair a 1000 glory with a 1.03 overall K/D against a 2500 glory with 1.9 K/D, think again about changing matchmaking in Crucible.
