    Most titans don’t have a learn to play issue most hunters do in fact I have seen far more incompetent hunters then titans or warlocks who I have noticed tend to be better (This is also due to the fact that most people play hunter)

  • I thought this was an unintended interaction. I could've sworn a couple updates ago Bungie killed the way the damage on this build stacks so it doesn't work anymore with Burning Maul.

  • Damage not dps. Dps is infinitely more important than damage. By the time nighthawk is activated and used the set up for burning maul has been achieved. Meanwhile the nighthawk hunter can proceed to use whisper, sleeper, ikelos, etc. Or assuming orbs are present I'd bet you can cast 3-5 nighthawks in one burning maul. I wish people would learn the difference between damage and dps. It's really not that complicated.

    Let me ask you this, how often is this utilized, especially in useful activities (raids, gambit, nightfalls, and strikes in general)? How easy is it to achieve this in an actual playthrough? As a slow melee super, it should be able do this relatively easy, but it's currently impractical. In PvP as a whole, the subclass tree as a whole is a joke, from its super to its hardly utilized perks. I also suggested changes taking PvE into account. Just because it's the highest damage dealing super under strict circumstances, that doesn't mean it's the best, even good or decent. There are too many inconsistencies. P.S. I've mained strictly this subclass tree for PvE and PvP since its release and has been doing good with it, but that is as far as it can go, requiring an ungodly amount of skill to compete with higher skill players and better subclass trees. By the way, how much have you used the subclass tree?

  • dunno for pvp for pve is reliable on every content, and raid, especially bosses where u need burst damage for pvp, i dunno

    Firstly, have you used the setup before? It's not as great as people think. If it is as great as you say, then why is Burning Maul hardly ever used in endgame content, where it'd be most important? There are too many variables and requirements at play, making it often difficult to setup and deal that damage efficiently. That's why it isn't reliable. It's possible, but it's highly impractical, too much so. Remember, the maximum amount of damage it can do can only be achieved in the ideal situation. Is the boss floating/can you reach them (if they are, it's not possible to hit them with any meaningful damage)? To get Roaring Flames 3x, can you quickly get 3 kills with only your throwing hammer and grenade (assuming those are available, which they might not be) within at most 30 seconds (30 because that's the most time you have to get 3x Roaring Flames)? By the time you achieve this, is it possible to damage the boss anymore (already dead, unreachable, floating, immune, etc.), seeing as you only have 15 seconds before Roaring Flames deactivates? Can you proc biotic enhancements (you need to have at least 3 enemies near you) before you start damaging the boss and, ideally, sustain it throughout the entirety of your super? Can you keep hitting the boss with your close-range slam throughout the entirety of your super, without being pushed away, blocked, and prevented by immunity or teleport? Now, which would better? Trying to get this setup actually set up before you start your prolonged attack on the boss or take your valuable time and damage the boss with quickly prepared, powerful weapons instead? Also, melting point is a thing that exists in the other subclass tree, which will increase not only your dps, but your teammates'. In what universe would you think this setup is even remotely practical, nay, useful? Over other options? Ha, [b]good one[/b].
