It's more of a pve buff than anything. You need a standard of 2 shots to kill other supers. All this really does is it allows you to be a bit more sloppy on shots. It might make six shooter a bit better at range due to the severe drop in damage at range it would essentially let you get that extra shot back that you placed. It will be really interesting to see how it plays in pve. It basically means top tree becomes the add clear class while bottom tree is more for boss damage.
