Like the topic says. You nerfed these into oblivion. You claimed you buffed them by 40% and yet, they're still useless. An entire class of weapon rendered useless to promote bows. Imo that's what was done but, that's just my opinion. Every scout I get is automatically dismantled because it's complete trash. Fix them already!

4 RepliesIn Gambit, getting weapon triumphs and I felt Scout Rifles and Auto Rifles could use some love. While Breakneck is a beast, Auto Rifles and Scout Rifles could use a bit of buff.
-
The ghost in the night medal i got on equinox with a rampage no feelings disagrees. You can use scouts, on certain maps, if you pick your engagements, maintain situational awareness, and have a solid shotgun counter weapon.

I use transfiguration and it's great!

16 RepliesEdited by ViktorCode: 1/13/2019 8:53:51 PMQuestion to apologists: can you name me anything close in performance to Hung Jury, with that roll which was on vendor sale week one, and I didn't have to farm anything to buy it? That Hung Jury, which even wasn't *the* best scout in the game, but just one of many good ones? That's what a scout should be. Not a freaking plastic pea shooter
-
2 RepliesMoment of silence for hung jury
-
You can use them you just don’t wanna... why does everyone think only meta weapons work? I use Polaris lance some matches that have some range and it does good
-
2 RepliesUse Autos. Best weapon class in the game.

3 RepliesI think Jade Rabbit is the only good one, at least in Crucible. I don't really find scouts particularly useful in PvE, because of the small magazine size and slow reload (which also hampers sidearms and SMGs). It's too bad: remember the amazing scouts from D1 like the full-auto, high caliber NL Shadow 701X that could just stun-lock people to death? Or Hung Jury SR4 with Firefly exploding people? Good times.

What bothers me is the lack of variation. Seems like most year two rifles are slow and fat DPS, as oppose to your more quick and agile MIDA or NL Shadow types of yesteryear. On some crucible maps they really shine though.

My No Feelings with Rapid Hit and Rampage says otherwise

2 RepliesHere's a thought, run whatever weapons you enjoy using, Fk streamers and their idiotic opinions. But take the good with the bad, the meta in D2 sucks.
-
2 RepliesBecause you’re waiting for a youtuber/streamer to tell you scouts are overpowered and amazing with YouTube thumbnails with red arrows pointing at the scout rifle.
-
2 RepliesUmm 40% what?? You mean they were nerfed by 40% from d1 values, the only change that was recently made to scouts was only a percent or two buff.
-
11 RepliesDude you should be putting every god roll scout you get into your vault. Bungie might change up the weapon meta and they may become relevant again. Just save them.
-
4 RepliesIt's because bungle loves them some streamers...and they love hand cannons...

Edited by Atypical Typo: 1/15/2019 2:01:55 PMI have a pretty nasty Nameless Midnight with stability MW, Zen Moment and kill clip. Does great in PvP.
-
Edited by zJDz: 1/15/2019 12:29:58 AMMan I use Polaris lance in gambit and it destroys invaders, and is really good for invading as you always have ammo and can usually map people. It’s really good in pvp on long range maps too. Auto rifles however suck especially in pve/gambit.
-
You can use them....
-
Bungie reads post...Evil laughter breaks out.
-
Make some more open longer range maps and the problem is solved. The meta is the distance we are forced to fight from.
-
4 RepliesEdited by ClovenTrack620: 1/14/2019 5:01:37 AMcause at the moment we got this stupid broken Handcannon Meta that makes zero sense, therefore every other weapon type has to feel weak & useless #bungielogic
-
Are you kidding, I have hip fire grip with full auto. Best thing on the planet.
-
1 ReplyI use scout rifles all the time in D1. Makes me laugh when I first log in and see a scout equipped, I'm like WTF then I remember D1 not D2. BUFF SCOUT RIFLES.
-
I still keep the god roll scouts that drop just in case Bungie decides to show some love to what used to be my favorite gun class. I mean, sure, you can still use them, and I do from time to time, but only when you’re just screwing around. When you need to actually take the game seriously, I put my toy scout rifle away and use real guns instead.

pve only minor spec rampage minor spec explosive rounds minor spec kill clip out law those 3 perk spec's are what makes a scout after the nerf work (legendary)
