I know that the destiny franchise is going to cater more towards hardcores (which I am not) and was wondering if I should pre order

No. Like every other live service, "shared world" game, wait six months and get it at half or less the price with all the bug fixes, patches, and updates to come along with it. None of those release with content worth the price and time investment they all want out of you.
-
1.never preorder 2. It’s made by ea 3. Last game bioware released was horrible
-
Play the open demo first week of Feb.(I think) then decide. Still got a month to go.
-
No. Never pre order.
Praise Calus!
-
Personally I preordered it a long time ago but there is an open beta feb 1st-3rd I believe so try it out if you like preorder it
-
I pre-ordered it, but it's usually best to just wait and see the reviews first.
-
Wait til after the free demo in the beginning of February before you commit.
-
Never preorder anything AAA
-
I definitely wouldn’t. Not a AAA published by ea.
-
Jesus Christ dude, why on earth would you pre order a game from EA? Are you on drugs or are you just dumb af?
-
It’s your money. Most places let you change your preorder to another game. So if you aren’t feeling the demo you can always change your preorder to another game
-
It's your money. Do as you please. I'm waiting for the demo to decide
-
Try out the demo first and then decide afterwards

Edited by AxelOfTheLight: 1/11/2019 12:14:21 PMDon't listen to anyone else on here if they aren't speaking what you actually want to do. My opinion is that you should. You get access to the VIP demo January 25th and, should you like it, you'll get some cool pre-order exclusives. If you don't like it? Transfer your pre-order to another game you're more certain you'll enjoy, simple as that. What do you really have to lose besides $5 towards Anthem or ultimately a different game you want? No-brainer to me. Edit: I'm obviously speaking about pre-ordering it from GameStop since they only require a $5 deposit.
I pre-ordered the Legion of Dawn edition and my wife actually paid it off for me for Christmas. Couldn't be happier, it really looks like a game I'll enjoy.
Edited by Capt Explodabob: 1/11/2019 8:27:43 AMYou know Destiny—that super hardcore, knock-off MMO.
No, by the way.
I refuse to preorder anything with the EA or Activision seal on it. Even with Anthem looking as promising as it does, I suggest watching beforehand just to make sure EA doesn't pull a fast one.
-
Sure. If you don’t like the beta before the game launches you can always cancel your pre order.
-
Should I preorder
let me stop you right there sonny
-
No, wait for the open beta next month to give it a try first.
-
No. Just wait for reviews. There is no harm in waiting a week or so.
