Since the day Black Armory dropped with the first forge set higher than the old power cap alarm bells started to ring. Having the forges set behind increasingly tedious grinds (of old content) and setting them as per character unlocks instead of account unlocks sealed Black Armory’s fate as a piece of content that has been delivered in an unsatisfactory manner. The nonsense with the Niobe Labs puzzle just sealed the deal. I want Bungie to do better but with the team the have making decisions I don’t think they can. Time will tell if their egos will let them adjust things sufficiently going forward.
