Movement. The movement is, for lack of a better word, shit.
It hit me today just how bad it is, I jumped on D1 for a run around the dreadnaught, just for the “feels” and, wow, it feels so good to control compared to D2. Apart from the lack of mantle it was sublime to run around and not trip over rough ground or a teeny tiny pebble. It was so smooth and fun. Aiming was quick like your life depended on it, snipers and shotguns were smooth and snappy, everything felt responsive.
Then I got back on D2 and it pissed me off almost instantly how clunky everything feels.
Did our guardians get clumsy and fat or what?
The overall sluggish feel D2 has it what makes it frustrating to play. EVERYTHING is delayed and slower, even D1’s curser moves faster, wtf BungIe?!
Unless that is fixable and you do it, D2 will never feel enjoyable. Frustration and irritation always over comes anything enjoyable.
Why are pebbles even interacting with our characters movement anyway? It’s a game, we can’t even see our feet unless we look straight down (which takes forever on console anyway) so how is that considered reasonable in a gun fight. What goes on in your devs minds?
Anyway Destiny 3 should just be D1 remastered and expanded upon. Give us the remastered D1 story as a bonus for dragging this crap out for a year without repair, and then expand on it with the new story, the way it was originally expected to hoped for by everyone.
