But dont worry, 3 trillion dollars or so a year for "Medicare 4 all" wont be an issue.
See it's funny because liberals actually think like this.

Bernie Sanders' "Medicare for All" plan found that the national health expenditure — the total amount spent on healthcare in the US by the federal government, states, businesses, and individuals — would come in below current projections under Sanders' plan. So while the price tag for the federal government would increase, the total cost of healthcare would go down, and more than 30 million uninsured Americans would get access to healthcare, according to Mercatus' model. Funny you and others can't see the difference in spending billions on a wall, which Mexico was supposed to pay for, where people can go over (as a Mexican politician did by climbing over an already completed part of the wall and going into the US) or around by boat or overstaying their visas..... Vs something that would actually benefit ALL Americans and reduce our healthcare costs. Also funny that an internal report shows the total cost for the wall wi be more than 4X that lol https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-immigration-wall-exclusive-idUSKBN15O2ZN Exclusive - Trump border 'wall' to cost $21.6 billion, take 3.5 years to build: internal report WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump’s “wall” along the U.S.-Mexico border would be a series of fences and walls that would cost as much as $21.6 billion, and take more than three years to construct, based on a U.S. Department of Homeland Security internal report seen by Reuters on Thursday.

4 RepliesLet’s force everyone to get “free” healthcare and make them pay a fine if they don’t. That’s freedom.

You’re right... MEXICO DOES

I think ladder costs less.

5 RepliesEdited by PhreshBrotha: 1/4/2019 11:38:35 PMI don’t like to pick a side but I’ll just say this: Which one would you rather have, and be honest 1. Affordable Healthcare Or 2. A Wall One’s attached to a necessity the other is a wall. Imagine breaking a limb and then saying “I may go broke from these medical bills, but I’m glad that wall was built”
-
3 RepliesFirst of all the wall was by the DHS, estimated to cost 21.6 billion dollars initially, not including tax dollars spent on maintaining and paying workers on the wall. Second, the reason Medicare gets more attention then the wall, is because illness kills drastically more people than illegal immigrants. Not to mention ladders. And not to mention planes. And not to mention the fact that illegal immigration is at an all time low.

3 RepliesEdited by Uncanny_Vale: 1/4/2019 9:19:04 PMIt’s obviously not just about the money. $5 billion is peanuts in the grand scheme of things. The US could probably build 20 walls if it wanted. The issue isn’t whether they can waste money on it but whether they should waste money on it. Health care is a necessity. The wall is a pointless vanity project.

12 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 1/4/2019 1:09:53 PMWe have the money. But we also have people with the soundness of judgement and the healthiness of soul to know that building a wall goes **against** everything this nation stands for....and everything the rest of the world looks to us for leadership on. So, we're just doing what you guys do. When it time to do something we don't want to do....we just claim we don't have the money. Besides.... Didn't our Idiot-in-Chief promise that he'd make Mexico pay for the wall?
-
Sure, we could block illegal immigration. But then, we'd have to... * Harvest our own fruit. * Clean our own houses. * Man our own construction crews. * Plys, every fertile couple would need to pop out 2.8 kids on average (to counterbalance infertility, child mortality, non-reproducing orientations, lifelong singles, and other issues). Sorry, that "mommy, daddy, one boy, one girl" Sears catalog cover family won't maintain our population. Are you starting to realize why Trump wants to build a wall (which won't work) instead of pass laws that aggressively punish those who hire illegals or give them welfare (which will)?
-
Or we could just put all this money into some nice coffee mugs.
Or, unironically, creating facilities where people would have clean running water all over America.
-
trump lied about mexico paying for it now its your taxes that pays the wall.
-
Why not just accept that the world is screwed and chill

I don't really care

1 ReplyEdited by Unseelie Nil: 1/4/2019 6:51:05 PMI'm just saying, as much as this wall is gonna cost us it better have friggin laser field gates, automated mini guns with missle launcher attachments, enchanted ice to keep the White Walkers away, and a Starbucks. Edit: I wonder how much of that money is to put his name on it in actual gold every few miles?
-
I mean im actually not upset about money being used to take care of Americans, but the wall could easily be paid for a dozen times over with the money we use for "foriegn aid" to countries that dont even like us
-
4 RepliesMexico was supposed to pay for it so your argument is dumb. The Wall was supposed to be free for us remember?
-
Those Syrian cost cutting measures that The Donald wants to implement, and that the left and the media say are horribly wrong (because combat is good, especially for ratings and defense company profits) might help fund it.
-
5 RepliesNot sure where your facts come from, but they are way off. For fiscal year 2017, the entire federal budget was $4T. Out of the entire budget, Medicare accounts for about 15% of the entire budget, so not even close to $1T, let alone four. If we really need money for wall why not ask Trump to return a few of the teens of millions of dollars his resorts have received, and continue to receive, in taxpayer dollars for him and his family visiting multiple times a month.

1 ReplyDeath, taxes, you crying about liberals every day.

Let's just take money from the military budget and give . . . Oh would you look at that a downvote.
^Wyoming

4 RepliesI’d hope youre smart enough to see that public expense on public services trumps (ironic lmao) building some mad hatter’s wall.
-
22 Repliesgood, help all americans with their healthcare so they can have a better living
-
Hmm... Should have switched to Geico.
-
I know right, some liberals are just stupid
-
2 RepliesThe wall is pointless, and I'll wager Trump Roast knows it. We have to eliminate opportunities and subsidies for illegals. That will drive them out, and it won't even require construction or force mobilization.
-
2 RepliesThe problem with medicare, and modern medicine in general, is that it spends increasing amounts of money to buy our older people decreasing amounts of life at a decreasing quality.
