With the "annual pass" being so bereft of new content, I get the distinct feeling they view D2 internally as "fixed" with the release of forsaken, or as fixed as it's going to get. They have done enough to placate people, but they know big numbers of players or dollars spent are never coming back to this game. Much as Bioware decided ME:A was a lost cause and pulled everyone to work on Anthem (at least they were straight up about it) I feel Bungie has done the same here. The annual pass is no more than what we had in D1 with the "Live" team I think they were called? A small team to give the impression this game is still being serviced by the devs.
At this point it appears all possible resources are on D3 to my eyes. Maybe this is good news for D3, but it's certainly not good news for D2 which we are expected to play for 2 more years.

12 RepliesRight now I think they’re still on like New Years break or something. And who knows? Maybe they’re working on something that’ll be announced after January 8th when Niobe Labs comes out. I’m honestly curious what the Labs will be. Dungeon perhaps?
