I’m a lvl 20 player (soon hope to change that) and I feel like when some1 has more light than me they are gonna be more powerful even with the no lvl bonus. Is this meant to happen because I feel like my sunshot would do better than 36 dmg crit at it’s correct range than a pulse rifle that one shots me with a burst. Everytime I round a corner there’s a player I can’t kill but they just click one time and there’s a dead hunter on the ground. A good way to sort of balance it is maybe queue lvl 1-30 players together and 31-50 players together?

Pulses don't 1 burst you. Sunshot is terrible. Crucible is the worst unbalanced PvP game in living memory. Good luck

8 RepliesCrucible is balanced as far as light level and same weapons. Game is dominated by lunas howl and not forgotten, basically 2 shot killers. Throw in bygones(pulse rifle) trust hand cannon and dust rock blues shotgun, all overpowered, it's a real unbalanced mess. Iron banner would be even worse due to light level counting.

4 RepliesThe crucible is arguably in the worst state its ever been. I’d stay far from it.

queuing people according to their light level means nothing. you will literally get every single Youtuber out there, creating alt characters and troll accounts, and you will become montage material.
-
Some weapons feel balanced, while certain weapons and perhaps entire archetypes (looking at you, aggressive burst pulse rifles) are definitely better than the rest.
-
4 RepliesOutside banner and gambit, there’s no power advantage. The weapons themselves are more of the factor. I don’t really see anyone with a common year 1 gun, especially a sunshot
-
I kinda think the maps are more of an issue than the weapons. Current maps favor the short and midrange weapons., and it would feel more balanced if there were a few more maps with longer site lines that force people to put their shotguns away. Having said that, scouts could still use a little buff IMO.

Subshot has explosive rounds I believe (or an exotic version of it) so it’s less actual bullet damage but also some explosion damage. So instead of a day 60 crit, it will do probably like 38 crit and 22 explosion damage. And LL advantages (not actual level, your power level, or light level) is only in Iron Banner and PvP aspects of gambit
-
No, no they are not.
-
If you have the same weapons as someone who is 650 you'll do, and recieve, the same damage regardless of your light level (not taking into account where your armour stats are placed).

Best PvP has ever been (for me at least) was the House of Wolves pulse meta. Every gun was good with the exception of bullet house autos. And that was the same meta as Thorn and Felwinter :/ -Best setup- Hopscotch Pilgrim 🙂 Ashraven's Flight 😆 Truth 😍 Or if you a bitch (lol) Thorn Longbow Ash Factory

Sunshot is crap

Run hunter with telesto then Profit. It’s as easymode as it gets...
-
Just use a shotgun
-
On the release of destiny 2 they were due to Pvp totally ruining destiny 1 however we are going full circle again.

Don't play iron banner
-
Also, you cant play iron banner, you can but you wont be able to do anything, iron banner have level advantages so youll probably do a lot less damage (if you do damage at all) and always be one hitted
-
There's nothing like balance in this game, everything is so -blam!-ed up you can barely believe this game is even played
-
No it’s not well balanced, that’s not the kind of PVP this game has.
-
4 RepliesIf you ever use an auto rifle and say Damn This Really Sucks? Trust us: we know lol
-
Yep. You will get some ppl replying crying about some weapons and sub classes, but they are just mad cos bad 👍
-
4 RepliesWhat crucible are you playing? QP, comp, IB? If you are going into Iron Banner at level 20, you don't stand a chance as light level means something in Iron Banner.
-
Just looked at your recent games/stats. You need to git gud scrub tbh (jk). On a serious note, if you're on console, the only HC that work consistently are the 180s, Luna, Trust, NF, so if you insist on using a HC you can grind Gambit for Trust, that can drop at your level from rank ups, end game loot, or bounties that reward legendary gear. Any energy pulse will stand you in good stead whilst you learn crucible, they're more forgiving than HCs if you stay mid range. You'll see lots of Luna/Dust rock shotgun rushers currently, n can't compete unless you get trust, or stay in mid n fight that way. You'll see an improvement in your avg 0.47 kdas. You run hunter, stay agile, keep moving, jumping, be harder to kill.

2 RepliesAll weapons are balanced in PvP. Some weapons are just more balanced than others.

Edited by PkmnGymLeader: 12/29/2018 5:54:05 PMIf you're playing Iron Banner, there are power level advantages there. I would avoid that until you get to at least 550 power. If you're not playing Iron Banner, it might be that you're reading the damage numbers wrong. You said you get 36 headshot damage with your Sunshot, but you also need to add the bodyshot damage from the explosion, since Sunshot has explosive rounds. If you add the two numbers together you should get a more reasonable damage number.
