Yeah there are hard counters but it feels like you have to run that counter at all times or just get screwed by it for an entire game. Why must there be a hard counter to a shutdown/panic super? I know nova warp can go through that stuff but I won't be surprised to see that one of bungie's fixes for NW is that it's blocked by the sentinels shield too. I don't think there should be any one counter to anything. Anything should be able to be countered by anything if you get what I mean. Right now unless you play something that is a direct counter to BB, you're going to die as soon as a hunter gets you in their sights or even on their radar. As soon as I see red on that radar, I start moving around and activate the super, by then it's pretty much too late for the enemy to react and it's another easy win for me.

Well, YOU don't have to run it but SOMEONE does, sure. it was just accentuated in mayhem with the shards. Look, I was raging about it as well during mayhem as I'm sure many were, until I played my titan then I just about laughed in the faces of hunters. But ya, you pretty much described exactly what supers are supposed to do. And banner shield isn't a catch all, from the front it does stop nova warp but it's easy to get behind the titan and kill them, that is the weak point as it is with every shield. So, every super has a counter and a weakness. BB however is just a little too good of a super for PVP, IMHO and it was terrible in mayhem (again, IMHO), but it's not completely unbeatable. It's not really much different from the Lance nova bomb in D1.

I'll settle for the fact that you acknowledge that it's just a little too good :p You're right, and some of this is just me getting mad. I'd like to think that what I'm saying is understandable and that's all I ask really, that people try to understand why I think the things I do about BB. Thanks for not jumping straight to insults like a few others have, haha
