Let’s talk about the shit ammo economy
I can wear 2 pieces of gear that say find heavy.. 1 or none... it’s all the same...
Barley ever drops. Especially in gambit.
Also is the hand reloader armor broken with the midnight coup ? Don’t seem to do any different when outlaw is not active.

1 ReplyI have one special and one heavy ammo finder on my gear and it doesn`t seem to affect anything. I can run a forge and have full heavy at the boss or I can run the same forge and have just the heavy that I spawned with. Same with the special. I feel like half the time I`m running around looking for ammo rather than killing stuff.

4 RepliesThere's a bug where two of same ammo type cancels it out. But, heavy ammo was nerfed by Bungie in....Old raids and lairs, the Whisper mission, and seemingly in most general activities. Bring back heavy ammo synths, and as punishment for the heavy ammo nerf, remove the cool down to use synths.

Edited by reenry: 12/28/2018 5:36:31 PMI think Bungie said Heavy was bugged, but also depends on what you have as your heavy. Special works most of the time, especially if you have two or more. Also activity, on Forge heavy never drops but special all the time.

Yeah its bad. With 2 heavy finder perks, I have done strikes and not 1 single box drops. Go do a patrol and every 3rd enemy drops a box. Artificial difficulty I suppose. Cant make strikes too easy now can we? I mean these thigs are fkn tough at 50 levels above power....

It makes no sense to destroy our ammo economy. What good are guns without ammo in a first person looter shooter? At least give us the option to pistol whip the damn enemies if they're gonna pull this bull crap. Or let our abilities charge faster or something. SOMETHING has to be done about this.

2 RepliesI seem to be getting enough. Try taken armaments in gambit. Kill the blockers with grenades for ammo. Usually I have plenty.

Using a fusion rifle in Strikes/NF, with 2-3 mods on armour ...and literally only seeing 1-2 bricks of Special & the act ammo, the entire duration of the strike .... Yeah cheers Bungie for the 500 kills needed with fusion weapons Right, it's time to cheese the Blind Well (Corrupted Strike) or Escalation Protocol

3 RepliesMy RNG on heavy ammo drops are almost as bad as my exotic rng. Thank God for raid banners because I've gone through the entire Last Wish raid up to the Vault with only 2 boxes of heavy actually dropping from an enemy. Even with Heavyweight active I'm still bone dry. It is especially annoying in the Forges as well.

Helmet, gloves, class item. Have heavy ammo finder on all 3 on each character n never have any issues. Run special ammo finder on chest and boots for good measure.

1 ReplyWell it was kind of working before forsaken but now in pve patrol it’s not so hot even if you have a ammunition finder. It’s like bungie has gone from one extreme to the next and I hear that it’s not that good in pvp ether
