This is the video that's being advertised on the "Iron Banner Returns" announcement.

I'll be real here, I think the outfit looks neat. But here is the thing.... Advertising the appearance of an Armor Set is demonstrating that you want players to care about their looks. Meanwhile ingame you've created more roadblocks that prevent players from looking how they want too. So, why would I or anyone bother to grind tons of resources just to maintain an appearance when the game is even against it?
No matter how you think about this the resources you'll need to maintain the look would sway most from bothering to obtain this new armor set as you've now forced the player into just caring about the stats of armor and not looks. Which based on the announcement page for it which doesn't list the stats and just shows off the looks of it. It feels and shows to me that there is a disconnect between the developers and players build for the game. https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47536

6 RepliesI agree... and it’s not like we haven’t been asking for transmogrification for years. It’s also disappointing that they haven’t implemented a set bonus for wearing a full set of armor, like the Division. It would be great to have a compelling reason to choose a complete set over an exotic.
