and disappointment. I understand the grind to get into all the forges, although I think the last step of the Izunami quest is a bit ridiculous for a solo player. But all that said... is it worth it? Is all this grinding and the cost of the DLC worth it? To get a "forge/forgeable" weapon that we had the ability to re-roll until will got what we wanted in D1? Far as I am concerned, I really see not much special about the black armory weapons, yes I understand game balance, but as a customer I also expect weapons that I "pay" for to be a cut or two above what I get without the Black Armory DLC - and in that, I'm disappointed. If I pay for the grind and get the "forge" weapons, I expect an advantage over those that choose not to go this path - if anything, besides looking cool... not not much satisfaction there. Then there is the grind itself; seriously??!! You (Bungie) are going to take away both my ballistics logs and completed bounties I had stacked on the Tuesday reset? WTF are you thinking? So I have to grind for ballistics logs ALL over again?? Each week so I can get the cool black shader weapons with a couple of perk trees and mods that may or may not be to my liking? Frankly whoever came of with this "grindy" concept to get the "rolls" we could get in D1 from Banshee - is seriously lacking brain one. I don't come in here and complain much, actually hardly ever, but this is BS - especially when I know down the road you'll just open up the Black Armory to the masses for free, just like you do everything else since day one of Destiny, so a paid for DLC is really just advanced access for those that want to pay.
Get a clue, paying customers want better treatment than this - and stop with the Black Armory consumable highway robberies each week... g-damn this, I am seriously pissed.

2 RepliesThen Bungie would be facing accusations of "Pay to Win."

1 ReplyOnly seen the mg and sniper so far and they seem pretty awesome for non-exotic weapons. I haven't done the forges yet as I'm not high enough to attempt, but my dad reckons the Izunami quest was a really great challenge solo and he thought it was perfect balance because it didn't reset if you died. I can't wait to try it too. Don't know much about the other stuff you said. Guess I'll let you know when I get there, but I'm sorry you are not enjoying it. Bungie is never going to please every player, but it seems most people (except my dad) are a bit unhappy.
