Anyone else tired of the no skill meta in this game?
All you see in crucible is shotguns, melee abilities, and supers. All things that take zero skill to use. Only once every few matches do I see someone that can actually aim with real guns. Since no-one knows how to aim, there's absolutely no competitive scene at all.

9 RepliesIf you constantly are getting shit on by shotgunners then your movement and spacial awareness just sucks ass. This game has many problems but shotguns really are not one of them. Git gud.

I don't mind most metas, but this one is indeed trash. All you see is titans with ohk melee, luna/not forgotten, blade barrage, nova warp, and shotties. This is more boring than the mida/last hope meta. At least you had to aim those weapons.

1 ReplyI just kind of want them to remove crucible entirely come Destiny 3 It’s the cause of 95% of this franchise’s problems. We’ve seen that Bungie can make some godly PvE content. But this isn’t the Bungie that made Halo. Their PvP is shit tier at best. It’s never been well balanced, and is honestly a poor excuse of an esports attempt. Stop trying to be the old Bungie or Blizzard, and play to your current game’s strengths.

CSGO exists, my dude. No sprinting, consistent recoil, no abilities, no free kills. Sounds like that game might suit you a bit better.

Only the slowest firing, hardest hitting ones should OHK will consistency IMO; after all how hard is it to follow up with a melee after if you didn’t OHK. If you’re looking for fun in the mean time though, High impact fusions with Backup Plan are actually good options against shotgun apes. It will take a few games to get used to using the timing to your advantage, but they’re really lethal once you get them down. They also can melt a Luna’s user if they’re pushing you too close ;)

12 RepliesIf you want a pure gun skill game, go play Halo or Rainbow Six. Destiny isn't that game...and will never be that game. It's an online Battle Arena. So shotguns and abilities are all part of the mix. ...and if you go Tilt when you die to them, then you're simply playing the wrong KIND of game.

There isn't a competitive scene because this game is 30 fps without dedicated servers and many random perks on weapons/armor, not because xyz is at the top of the pack. You have summoned me.
