Iron Banner is absolutely GLORIOUS
12 games played already today.
ZERO Diamond players
ZERO Master players
2 Platinum and they were on opposing teams.
No Luna's/Not Forgotten/DRB/Wardcliff spam all game every game.
Solos are matched evenly vs fireteams. I'm 9-3 so far solo queue.
Silver and bronze players able to actually compete and get kills instead of going 1-17 against players that insanely outclass them.
Most fun I've had in Crucible since HoW. [url=https://guardian.gg/2/profile/4611686018434498562/Lost%20SolsSet it to IB and go through my games and see how balanced they all are. Edit/update: through 21 games, still only the 2 Platinum players. No diamond or master.
Also to clarify, the lockdown mechanic is still awful and the games are tilted way too often because of it, but the player matchups are incredibly fun and balanced.

9 RepliesGlad you had the polar opposite experience. My only two games today entire enemy team: Dusk rock blues, Luna/NF, wardcliff and either nova warp or spectral blades. Worst crucible experience ever and just adds to my growing disdain for it.

Played some more today - fairly balanced teams, barely any noticeable lag. Looking at stats over the last two days: 17 wins & 12 losses.

My games are laggy and full of lunas howl/not forgotten, glad you are having a good time. I don’t mind going against the top players, I don’t enjoy the lag though, lag seriously ruins the experience.

Sols needs IB so he can be a Diamond in anything for once probably. You really showing them out there. Also seems like the majority doesn't care, which is good. I mean, why would anyone celebrate safe spaces for Social Justic Warriors?

Games are still terribly laggy and inconsistent, hits don’t register half of the time and the same networking problems that folks have been having have been prevalent through the matches that I’ve seen. Simply nothing has changed.

1 ReplyI have not had the same experience unfortunately. Not forgotten and lunas all over the place as well as dusk and telesto. Same meta as before really. Funny enough I'm using Cerberus and not doing bad lol. The one gun I haven't see at all that I used to is bygones. I have yet to see that gun at all. It's all shottys and hand cannons

Iron banner is most DEFINITELY not balanced. Like you said you hate one sided games, and the lockout mechanic does this even far more than regular control. My second game I went up against a 3 stack with not forgotten and oh boy did they destroy me. Is this what you wanted? Sbmm iron banner? At least it’ll get you out of quickplay
