Subclass customization
I'd love to see this come back, doubt it will, but I'd love it. Imagine the builds! Melting point with burning maul, roaring flames with sunspot, shattered strike( believe that's what it's called 😬) with tether. Devour with nova warp. Knife trick with celestial, throwing knife with blade barrage (why'll your at it give throwing knife a buff, don't even play hunter and I can say it's needed) So much that could be done! I don't know why they got rid of this 😭. Tell me what you guys think, would you want it back?

I never wanted it to stop. This was done because in character customization the builds are based on counters. You choose a subclass with a particular base advantage and customize a subclass perk tree and build. Unfortunately you will always be weak/strong against certain opponent types. Now we have generalized versions of characters to choose from. You pick your weapons of choice and build around that instead. These same weapons are available to all which helps to maintain a balance in PvP despite the character type. The direction of Destiny was much better in my opinion. I miss customized characters and I hope after D2 they change back. People will always make excuses. Competitive channels will always make money from views and need content. Players will always look for ways to look great with minimal effort. Bungie can get more fresh meat and money by making games designed just like this. If they want to make something new they will look back into Destiny type of design. If they wanna make money easy they can just do what they are doing and let it come in. *THERE IS MY NOVEL, THANKS FOR READING* 🤣
