Banned for having a NAT type 3!?

So I was playing destiny 2 and all of a sudden im banned and I think its due to the whole new thing of people with bad connections get banned. Why is this allowed if I am not makiing my internet bad intentionaly why should I be punished for it? There is no way for me to change my NAT type to "open" so I get banned for it? Please unban me bungie I have done nothing wrong.

  • You cannot be banned for having poor connection. You may get a restriction from PVP, but that is it. PC bans are usually due to third party software that could potentially inject code into the game.

    • NAT type 3 means you have an unstable connection, or interference. You may not be doing it deliberately, but you're still impacting the quality of the match for everyone in the game.

    • NAT is generally controlled by your router, so you should be able to adjust something to open it up better. Unless you are on a multi-user location like a University etc. Poor internet in PvP is a event than can cause restrictions or bans - your internet affects the others in the game. If you do not have premium internet, do not play PvP. Usually anything related to internet quality is a restriction, not a ban. If it was on PC, it can also be caused by having any type of software on the computer that can inject itself into a program.
