So I was playing destiny 2 and all of a sudden im banned and I think its due to the whole new thing of people with bad connections get banned. Why is this allowed if I am not makiing my internet bad intentionaly why should I be punished for it? There is no way for me to change my NAT type to "open" so I get banned for it? Please unban me bungie I have done nothing wrong.

1 ReplyYou cannot be banned for having poor connection. You may get a restriction from PVP, but that is it. PC bans are usually due to third party software that could potentially inject code into the game.

NAT type 3 means you have an unstable connection, or interference. You may not be doing it deliberately, but you're still impacting the quality of the match for everyone in the game.

NAT is generally controlled by your router, so you should be able to adjust something to open it up better. Unless you are on a multi-user location like a University etc. Poor internet in PvP is a event than can cause restrictions or bans - your internet affects the others in the game. If you do not have premium internet, do not play PvP. Usually anything related to internet quality is a restriction, not a ban. If it was on PC, it can also be caused by having any type of software on the computer that can inject itself into a program.
