No-skill One-hit Kills Dominate PVP
Shotguns, auto-aiming supers, rockets, shoulder charges. What is the point of crucible, if having skill is negated so easily? If I land 3 headshots with a hand cannon, it's a miracle because I lived long enough to fire 3 rounds, not because I had the skill to land them.

4 RepliesBait them out and vaporize them with a Fusion Rifle. Most people have no idea how to combat one. They'll try to rush with their Shotgun and get destroyed. It was hilarious using one in Rumble last season and seeing people with Luna's Howl just lock up and get deleted by my Erentil.

Any sniper learns to pick their shot on a moving Target. Any shotgunner has to close the gap on someone trying to kill them. Any fusion rifle needs to be timed for charging or their shot is a waste. If you don't like the weapon that's cool. But everyone that one hits has an obstacle to overcome.

Contrary to your statement, I think it takes real skill to shoulder change because if you miss, you are standing there with your pants down. I'm a hunter and I don't mind getting killed to nova warps, golden guns and shoulder charges, it just makes me a better player. PvP is all about anticipating your opponents and moving as a team. You can also use non meta weapons to throw off your opponents because they won't expect the impact or your movement. Switch things up!

Always outgunned rarely outplayed. That's how the crucible feels majority. I made a bad play by using something that's not meta, yep it's my fault for having variety in my loadout, not bungie's crucible sandbox team.

That's how PvP has been in all video games, right from the word go. Players will always flock to whatever lets them succeed with the least effort. If OHK gimp weapons or abilities exist, expect the vast majority of any playerbase to abuse them. If they get nerfed or removed, the players will find the next best thing, every single time. The only way to make a truly "balanced" PvP sandbox is to make everything exactly the same. Same time to kill, same effective range, same recoil pattern, same ammo economy, etcetera. Obviously that would make for a very boring game, so it's never gonna happen. That being said, players are left with three distinct options: A) Join the rest of the herd and use the same crutch weapons/abilities as them. B) Use what you want and get over the fact that other players will continue to rely on the easiest methods to kill you. C) Say "-blam!- it" and stop bothering yourself with PvP altogether. (That's what I did.) The choices suck, but that's life.
