Hey guys.. Finally got mine to work. I had to reinstall the game 3 times, that's nearly 160gb of downloads. Reinstall 1 - Xbox kept stopping the install half way through. Had to start over. Reinstall 2 - fully reinstalled but couldn't even launch the game. Got the error saying system update didn't work or something along those lines Reinstall 3 - fully reinstalled and it just worked after that. Note it's important to clear cache after each uninstall. To do this just power cycle your Xbox by turning it off and unplugging power for 3 mins.

I have been getting the run around since 12 hours after it was released. My game runs flawlessly like it always has, no change in performance, but if I go to look at my missions in the char sheet under inventory tab the icons don't appear, you see loading wheels and the game crashes hard to desktop, message "Problem reading game content" tells me to run a scan and repair. scan it repair it, game is fine go to the same tab CRASH every. single. time. Made a ticket and the guy basically told me dunno, looks like your processor is below min requirements BULL SHIT! I have no idea where he's getting this it's very clearly above their publicly posted minimum system requirements. So what's he saying, they change the finish line when they want to? That's literally false advertising and illegal. I urge ALL of you to file tickets under PATCH ISSUES since even if their customer service monkeys won't admit it or can't understand it, this is definitely an issue with a bad broken patch. I have let them know too that if it keeps getting ignored and sidestepped while thousands of customers can't even play the product they bought- that is something the BBB (better business bureau) can and will investigate and when they find out this DID happen yes, it will be a "black mark" on their "Permanent record" Do not let this stand, file ticket after ticket until they understand it's on their end and they need to roll it back or fix ASAP and they need to give us a statement.

I factory reset my console reinstalled everything now it just says something went wrong during system update it won't even let me launch destiny. Every other game works fine

yeah same problem the 80 +gig re dload i cannot afford, so looks like i am paying for something i cannot use until a patch is sorted merry xmass bungie great timing on this!

I’m getting the same issue! Uninstalled it, and even though it says ready, it still says an error has occurred blah blah. Is it fixed for you yet?

Man Xbox is getting kicked down a lot. Their console must just hate this game or the hardware is just becoming garbage.
