Clovis Bray scientists happened upon the planet 42. They sought to create the perfect human being and happened to settle on exos. The planet 42, now revealed to be a separate dimension, was visited by Bray scientists. They gathered Vex scraps and created the proto-exo. This proto-exo was named Распутин, Rasputin. The exo’s body couldn’t handle the complex parts and almost rejected it’s body. The scientists wiped it, but it once again rejected it’s body. Then they decided to upload it to a database and tasked it with defense of the Sol system. He was in control of many assets in space. At first they were called the In Space Ordinance Long Range Missile System aka. ISOLRMS aka. A Sol Arm System/Sol ArmS. They were then renamed to WarSatS, War Satellite Systems. This was the birth of the warminds. Another creation by Clovis Bray was the common exo. Having made a great discovery in exo science, Clovis Bray could now make exos stable. They created more exos with common parts rather than the mysterious “Vexing” parts. That’s where the name we now address the Vex with, comes from. They also gave the exos human traits which further allowed the human brain to believe that it belonged their. These exos were purposed for war though, but ultimately some of them became citizens. They most likely faces discrimination from the other humans. The wiping of their memories probably also reverted them back to their baby like state. Amnesia maybe. The memories they do have originally spawned from Rasputin’s implanted memories as he was put in charge of them. The culmination of all the exo minds could just be their own brain’s interpretations of Rasputin’s memories. Of course, some exos had documentation by them, or searched intently for them themselves, that allowed them to look into their past. Back to the point though. Vex are tied to Exos because they share the same thoughts. They think the same way, and can communicate more easily.
