They made an event that requires you to continue to play the game normal.
Nothing new you need to do what r go out of your way with quests.
Just play the game and get ingredients to make food. Only to get a Sparrow that is useless after the event.
All this just for a Sparrow and a MG that is given to you at the beginning of the event.

They've done the same since Festival of the Lost 2015. It is only a holiday event remember. I wish they'd re-use stuff like Sparrow Racing and Crimson Doubles though. But noone is forcing us to bake the cookies
