I don't think everything is here to be grinded. Machine gun, powerful gear, bit of fun giving cookies and a few pieces of lore was enough for me. Remember this is content that is free for everyone not just annual pass holders. The forge and raid are what we're grinding.

They made an event that requires you to continue to play the game normal. Nothing new you need to do what r go out of your way with quests. Just play the game and get ingredients to make food. Only to get a Sparrow that is useless after the event. All this just for a Sparrow and a MG that is given to you at the beginning of the event.

They've done the same since Festival of the Lost 2015. It is only a holiday event remember. I wish they'd re-use stuff like Sparrow Racing and Crimson Doubles though. But noone is forcing us to bake the cookies
