Halo: Reach has the WORST voice acting in ANY game!
Woah, now wait up there, before you flame!
Im not talking about the whole game, in fact, I think Noble has some of the best voice acting ive heard. What I am referring to is some of the many side characters you hear on the COMM.
Let me point out one example: On winter contingency, before you save the marines, one of them comes on the radio and informs you that 'the covenant are on Reach'. Everytime I hear this, I cringe. The guy is emotionless when his planet is being invaded and his voice is just bad. All I can think is that someone won a competition to have their voice in the game, it is that horrible!
So, did anyone else notice any cringe-worthing voiceacting?

Soldiers are trained to not freak out every time something bad happens. Although I do agree the dude in Winter Contingency has 0 emotion in his voice what so ever.

In previous Halo games, I've heard marines and other COMMzers going all crazy because they met like the flood, or something else. Now, it's not quite the same.

You are missing the biggest problem - why is his part even necessary? We have been fighting the covenant for like 10 mins already when he says it! Way to state the obvious man.

ere was nothing wrong with that part in winter contingency. the only part i felt was dumb was when the marine says "spartans... it's the coventant" then carter says "we know corperal" yeah we just saved you from -blam!-loads of them... we saw them... we know they're here

The Covenant is on Reach, I repeat, The covenant is on Reach. Oh and i saw this really cool t-shirt the other day, it was red and i thought wow. I cant even play that level without cringing >,<

That guy the OP tlaks about on Winter Contingency, I thought he sounded more like his worst nightmare had just come ture (i.e. Covies on Reach), and he was scared and desperate. Excellent voice acting all round, as always.
