While using chaos reach it can be difficult to make out the enemies in front of you sometimes. Maybe having the enemies highlighted in red for example through the beam would help a lot. This is especially true in the crucible, where you can get shot down relatively easy.

7 RepliesI main hunter and do agree it's easy to hide from chaos reach.. I just go underneath them and shotgun. Not sure highlighting enemies is the answer but I've seen gameplay and it's hard af to see what's going on casting that thing.
-
Completely agree. Unless it's a big target, most times I have no idea what I am hitting.
-
4 RepliesYou raise a good point. I also find hammers does the same thing - at least to me. It's like bungie decided you need a visial handicap when your using your super. But chaos is absolutely terrible.

Buff to "attunement of control "in my opinion constructive criticism are welcome :): Chaos reach: Improve field of view or highlight enemy target while casting. Increase turn radius, damage resistance or damage so it takes less than 2 ticks to down a non-super guardian and less than 5 ticks to down a super guardian which allows it to become more viable in the crucible Ball of lightning: increase tracking and damage to compete with throwing hammer and throwing knives Ionic trace: improve tracking (so it follows you like flies on shit instead of going sightseeing) Pulsewave: increase movement speed

An exotic where Chaos Reach gives an AoE that pings.

1 ReplyTotally agree. I can't see squat when using it and end up dying halfway through it.

14 RepliesPvE = I'm all for it, kill as many as possible and highlight them in bright pink for all I care. PvP = You've already got your roaming nuke, it's already annoying enough being killed twice by the same super. I don't need you cross mapping me with your beam of light.

Nope that's just too smart to be implemented

5 RepliesWhy don’t you just ask them to put it on auto and kill your enemies for you?

1 ReplyYeah, it's a pain in the (interest genital of choice here) to see. Aesthetically, it's cool AF! But you can't see a damn thing.
-
Agrree…..good idea.
-
I agree! When you cast Chaos Reach your warlock and the beam take up the entire left side (slight exaggeration), makes hitting anything on the left more challenging, where as anything on your right is fair game.
-
It’s great against bosses or enemies with HUGE life bars. Smaller targets get lost easily though.
-
I get for realism the screen gets dark because it is so bright, but yes it makes it damn near impossible to see the enemies right in front of you.
-
Indeed! I miss enemies all the time, cause I can't see them.
-
Sniped a chaos reach out of its super the other day. It was beautiful. I do agree, though

1 ReplyA wider FoV while casting might help it a bit. i've seen pc gameplay and its no where near as visually impairing
