What I mean is, can a male Guardian impregnate a female Guardian, and is she able to give birth to that child? If yes, would that child be able to wield the light? Is Light genetically inheritable?

D...do Exo's.... get busy?
-
I’d punt my baby off the tower
-
Guardian's are sterile according to the lore.
-
Romance options ‘Nuff said. They’d spice shit up a lot.
-
We already have baby Guardians.
They're called Hunters.
-
Not unless it’s through intropixelization.
-
I choose to believe that most things brought back to life are sterile. Otherwise Zombies and Vampires could start having kids.

Edited by Hero: 12/18/2018 10:51:49 AMDespite theories and what people say in the comments, as far as I know the simple answer to that question is, "unconfirmed." Pretty sure a Bungie employee in an interview at one point actually said they didn't want to discuss stuff like that so, I doubt you'll get a legitimate answer anytime soon. As for the kid light wielding part if guardians could have kids: We can assume off of dialogue and lore the answer would be no, because the Traveler has to choose you. Although for the particular situation you are asking about nothing is necessarily confirmed.

Only one way to find out...( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Two zombies shag and make a zombie baby? Sounds interesting.

The answer is yes. Until said otherwise. All that medical tech and there is no mention of Guardians being sterile? I mean technically unconfirmed but it’s late in the game to mention that important fact. In fact I believe the lore indicates we are normal except for the space magic. That said just think. Guardians are usually busy, have a weird dynamic with mortals so that makes relationships less likely and the Speaker once mentioned how the people seem to be worshipping the Guardians more then the Traveler. So Demi-Gods who bend reality, live forever, have an invisible Ghost floating around when you can’t see it, could crush you like an insect, will outlive your children, will be young and healthy when your old and brittle... Lots of reasons Guardians wouldn’t be dating humans. However... It’s also worth noting that most mentioned relationships with Guardians tend to be same-sex. I would take that as an indication they are avoiding procreation....possibly for story purposes. Pujari did have that one vision... I wonder what Eris and Asher would be considering...

I remember someone posting this a looong time back and I think most peeps said no...
-
we have 0 lore that remotely pertains to this. so logically the answer would be no. i doubt that of all theanswers gaurdians none have tried and a child wouldbe fairly important.
-
No they are not real ! Digital creation only.

Yes, other players probably can have children but I would advise not messaging other players if they want to conceive a child. It will more than likely get you banned.
-
My guy is sterile from all the space crack.
-
While I’m not sure if they are able to have a child, if they did the child wouldn’t have light because the ghost gives us our light powers.
-
Begs the question .....is Mara with child ????
-
...why do you want space zombies slaves to have babies?
-
I mean they’re still human, no?
-
No, because like the zombies they're attached to, Guardian d!cks are dead too.

Imo, the real complication would be if the mother died mid term. Lore-wise, ghosts can only revive their own gaurdians. As a separate entity, the fetus would most likely be lost in the process. Assuming the mother could stay alive for the full term, it would be unlikely to "inherit" the light as it has no known genetic connections.
