As we all know there are many players struggling to complete this quest. Landing those headshots or getting handcannon final blows can be quite a challenge, especially if some of you are not sure which handcannon to use.
I have an idea that some of you should try: use Service Revolver. It's a kinetic 180 from Warmind. Even though it's a Year 1 weapon it has very little recoil and it comes with Outlaw, forcing a player to either hit those crits or hope they have time to reload. It lacks Range but, oddly enough, it can teach a player what the optimal range is for most handcannons.
Give it a go and see how you do!

4 RepliesYou think getting Luna is hard? Try making a water ballon with piss.
-
2 RepliesI've heard good things, but I'd use west of sunfall over it any day.
-
3 RepliesI have it and don’t even use it. So noobies don’t bother it’s not good or versatile like bygones.
-
3 RepliesWith the teammates that bungie consistently matches me with I’d have an easier time leveling down from max rank to beginning rank.
-
6 RepliesAce of Spades, Sturm, or a decent Duke are really the only options. Range is king when doing these steps. Trust is decent but not great. If you're doing it solo, bait your team and just play to the strengths of your handcannon. Eat the loss, doesn't matter. Focus on wins after you're done with the rest of the quest. Did the whole quest in a few days last season.

3 RepliesHere's the small tip and what it really means. Pay to be carried or don't even try. Your not earning the gun because of competitive and it's shit matchmaking and the shit rank system they is mimicking the damn gambit rank system which is bullshit.. I went from guardian to guardian 2 back down to zero which guardian minus 90 some odd points. Screw you. Put those weapons in quickplay and make it where they can actually be earned or compromise with competitive game mode already and fix that shit. Apprently not to many people understand that if your solo queing your not getting anywhere. And in my case you got your team you win two matches and immidatly get stomped the next three. I don't care there is no get good and no amount of practice I can do to fix the way i play.

2 RepliesAppreciate the tip dude, I used sturm for the headshots back last season it was quite effective. Don't suppose you have any tips on how to get out of brave?
-
2 RepliesOr just get yourself a trust, and put a targeting mod on it. Especially because it's the same archetype as Luna's and not forgotten.
-
22 RepliesPro tip don't bother playing 100 rounds of crucible cancer and forget this weapon existed. Go and farm a god roll kindled orchid.
-
Service revolver is still solid . The new orchid is a beast as well . West of sunfall still holds strong too . If your sticking with your teammates a good duke should get the job done too.
-
West of sunfall 7 is also pretty good if you don’t have any you like better. I got a rampage/outlaw Duke that I’m gonna be using probably
-
1 ReplyHonestly Luna isn’t all that good, my trust with outlaw and rampage is much more consistent
-
1 ReplyMalfeasance is also a good gun I rarely see used. Almost no recoil and has a fast RoF. I can also outrange most other HCs because the explosions after landing 5 shots will finish them off. Good super shutdown because of this as well.
-
3 RepliesI just gotta reach fabled dammit
-
6 RepliesCan you still get the Service Revolver from Zavala in Forsaken? Or am I locked out of it since Warmind is past?
-
1 ReplyWest of Sunfall is more likely considering that's still obtainable actually.
-
Edited by BrumDog: 12/16/2018 2:49:16 PMA good hand cannon to use is lunas howl lol
-
Flaw in the plan is Service Revolver is no longer obtainable to anyone that did not get it in season 3.
-
It's all easy except the last part.
-
3 RepliesIf kills is your problem forget about it, the ranking is way worse!!
-
Malfeasance for the when
-
2 RepliesI did most of mine with an explosive round Trust, which is not entirely ideal. As pointed out below, you will lose some headshot kills due to the explosive damage counting as body damage, however, it’s not terribly bad. 99% of people need to worry about getting to Fabled. It’s the only actual challenge for the entire Luna quest. Also, know that many good teams are at Fabled right now. They will likely be moving up in the following weeks. We played some bigger named streamers a few days ago so it’s pretty sweaty from 1500 - 2500 for a bit.
-
I actually used a load out I wAs completely comfortable with until I broke into Fabled . Then I reverted back to the hand cannon headshots . After I reached Fabled , it didn’t matter if I back slid a bit .
-
4 RepliesWould love to if I ever got. FeelsBadMan
-
Trust with a remotely decent role is best, or the AoS.

Crimson and trust.
