Is there any way to tone down the muzzle flash on the Misfit auto rifle?
When aiming down sights the arc muzzle flash takes over the entire scope. Its pretty distracting. Is there any way to tone it down so that it doesn't drown out the cross hairs. My Valakadyn has the same rate of fire and no where near the muzzle flash so its way easier to aim down sights. I've tryed a bunch of other guns with Rapid Fire Frames to compair it to the Misfit and the Misfit seems to have an inordinate amount of muzzle flash. Has anyone else noticed this?

Sorry for upping relatively old thread, but while I was playing mostly PvE, muzzle flash on Misfit was notable, but acceptable, as mobs movement patterns are relatively predictable. Yet when I tried to play PvP, I realized I can't see where I am aiming at and guardians aren't mobs, they don't have fixed movement animations.

They also need to buff its damage. It feels like it does no damage in pve and pvp

Now that you mention it, the flash is rather obnoxious. It's already hard enough to see down the sights on a good number of guns.

Bump the arc effects make it so hard to see where the crosshair is

I run Misfit a helluva lot and never even noticed the muzzle flash until after reading this comment yesterday. Yeah, it could be toned down some, but I still don't find it bothersome. Now a mussel flash, on the other hand... I prefer that to be a freshly waxed experience. ;)

Yep. A fix for this would be fantastic. This weapon has a ton of potential and feels like a better SMG than actual SMGs.

11 RepliesIf you get an honest answer that helps let me know. I get blinded by my own supers and can't find the enemy players. So, if there is a way to tone this stuff down, I sure would like to know what it is.
