Anyone else feel like Bungie put more thought into cookie baking and gathering the materials for it than the did gathering materials to forge weapons? I’m not gonna lie, I’m actually enjoying the oven more than the forge because of it. If they had any sense, then Bungie would retool the forged to take materials in a similar manner. Of course, that might hurt the RNG a bit, but it’d make me more inclined to play knowing I was going after something I had to actually work for.

I don't know since I can't play the forgery yet. I noticed that none of the people that I gave baked goods to said thank you. The people I'd like to give them to aren't on the gift list; the post mistress and the little guy sweeping down in the corridors. They are the only polite characters in the game. I'm going to bake a rocket launcher that has two rounds in the chamber, reloads quickly and actually tracks targets. The bad guys with get the smell of cinnamon and cloves as they turn into a cloud of plasma.

I loved how they did the animated forging of prophecy weapons in CoO, really wish they did that again with forge.

Totally agree. I’m going around doing random activities trying to work out the the text meaning for all the different blue ingredients. They have done a good job with this event. Much better than last time.

Sad state when we as god killer guardians enjoy finding recipes to bake cookies. Come on really?

It's just a repackaged version of D1 weapons packages from Banshee. No investment from Bungie at all...nothing new

They should have made at least a frame for every archetype of each weapon you could get and the option to ha e it kinetic or elemental. The current system is limited af.
