How did Mara sov survive? What is her ‘plan’? How does Eris fit into all this? Thanks in advance

Mara Sov technically is dead as of this moment. When Oryx used his Dreadnaught’s weapon which forced his Throne World into our reality, it ripped apart her very essence, killing her. But her plan was to use this moment of her “death” to slip inside oryx’s Throne world and assume control once the guardians felled the King. She created Eulisania (I think that’s how you spell it, it’s really really late for me and I’m tired lol) with the help of her Techeuns Sedia, Kalli and Shuro Chi, which was meant to transport her soul spiraling into the King’s Throne world. As to how Eris fits into this, she is a friend of Mara Sov; she planned for Eris morn to teach the guardians how to kill Oryx, the Taken King. Eris taught us how to harness the Sword Logic and become Ascendant, to step into the Ascendant portal to face Oryx inside our reality When we entered King’s Fall, we went into Oryx’s Throne world itself and killed the king, giving him a true death decreed by the sword logic. This was because we killed him inside his own throne world, which is a perma-death for all Ascendant and Hive gods.

5 RepliesEdited by CIKiller: 12/13/2018 2:54:32 AM
How did Mara sov survive?
She used Riven's wish-granting powers to make a Throne world in the Ascendant Plane.
What is her ‘plan’?
Use the Harbingers as anchors to Oryx's throne world, when she "died", she would go to Oryx's throne world, then wait there until he died and take his power.
How does Eris fit into all this?
Eris warned Mara Sov about Oryx, and so her part of the plan was to get the Guardians to kill Oryx so Mara could accomplish her goals. Unfortunately, thanks to the Techeuns, Oryx was led directly into the Dreaming City and took Riven, along with the Techeuns. Then he found Mara's throne world and damaged it.

She’s like in another dimension and stuff

The easiest and laziest way to answer this is SPACE MAGIC.
-
So think of Mara like Oryx, Oryx died, but not in his throne world. Mara died but in our dimension, she is still alive in her throne world
-
Go Google Destiny 1 Dead Ghost Queen Aftermath. This been known since early Taken King found in the beginning uptop of the black Garden in D1

Er....it’s a video game. Lol.

Her ascendant realm.

4 RepliesMara is able to use her power to launch fireballs that smash holes in ships that are kilometers in diameter. So best not to underestimate her.

Awoken hocus pocus disappearus plotus

Read the lore.

4 RepliesThe short version: Plot convenience The confusing version: Oryx tried to kill her using his throne world but Mara took the opportunity to slip into it instead.

Space Magic.

15 RepliesYou might want to edit the title. Not everyone has beaten the story (I just recently beat it like a week ago). Just so you know. Spoiler does suck.

1 ReplyWhat I want to know what will she do now sine her brother is a guardian and what is her plan?

Edited by TotalDramaGamer: 12/11/2018 6:28:09 PMThe same way you kill Oryx 'twice'. He died in our reality, but remained in his own. She did die in the Darkness blast. She was then restrained to her Ascendant Realm to recover, but was then trapped when Riven unleashed the curse. Remember that 'death' is not a very permanent thing in Destiny. It's simply a state of existence, not a one and done deal like normal mortals.

11 RepliesShe didn’t. She died and hijacked Oryx’s throne world.

8 Replies<Eris would lead us to kill Oryx. The plan was to use the Harbingers to create a gateway into the Ascendant version of the Dreadnaught. Mara would then use her Ascendant form to get in, sacrificing her material form.>
