How is the Black Armory in the Tower?
We built a brand new tower, how was it possible for Ada and her Master to setup shop that fast without being noticed?

Not a new tower there are a bunch on the wall but all except the main one were retired and bannerfall is also one

****spoiler alert**** ****Turn away unless you read lore tabs**** Ada-1 has a bad history with guardians going back to her very creation, they hunted her and her family like dogs after the collapse before the last city was even created, this explains a couple of things. 1: allying with the spider makes perfect sense, the guy collects dead ghosts, and uses us for Cannon fodder. 2: her location in the last city, this is the last stand of humanity, and since this is the second version of the tower, the answer is she wasn't right underneath us until very recently, and after the cabal discovered the last portable forge(s?) And moved them, she doesn't have much choice but to get our help, hence the door opening.

We didn’t build the new “Tower”...we just set up shop in that location.

We didn't build brand new tower, our original is back to our left as you spawn in we are on the remnants of a different structure that was already present.

Easy. She was there first. We just inconveniently set up shop right outside her sanctum.

We didn't build the tower in D2, we repurposed it after the fort one was destroyed

They kept the place secret for centuries. Means that they're pretty good at avoiding detection by those they don't want to be noticed by. Plus, there is no in-house stock. So what was there would have stood out, and gotten noticed??
