Update - 12/10/2018
Dropped an Exotic, in my Postmaster. was not even aware I had it, I did some farming for ghost shells so I could buy the Bounty from Spider then stack that with the one on Reset, and when I went to the tower, Forsaken Exotic - Black Talon.
I picked up the Ornament for it some time ago, Decent
the Drops are definitely coming back.

This week I got Queenbreakers, Antaeus Wards, Contraverse Hold, Black Talon, Sunshot, Eternal Warrior, Thunderlord, Wavesplitter and Borealis. All helped with the power grind. Though I've gotten a lot of exotics in Forsaken, like three a week. But definitely a drop rate buff has happened. Some from milestone stuff like nightfall or Dreaming City bounties and some as random drops doing Ep or Forge.

My report since season 5 started on my hunter (am a father with full time job, so one class is all I can manage) 3 exotics; - lord of wolves fron spider bounty - oath keeper from forge - trinity ghoul from raid I am happy with the current drop rate and duplicate protection. After last season getting almost 20 exotics and all were old duplicate but gwisin vest, this season totally give a much better experience for me.

3 RepliesExotics have always been this easy to get. The reason being is that people are ACTUALLY doing their milestones for the sake of leveling up. Before in foresaken, no one did their milestones. They just played gambit and crucible all day expecting an exotic to drop. Now that were all under-leveled, we're incentivized to do the milestones. Forge quests require you to kill a hefty amount of challenging enemies. Which further ads to our potential exotic drops. So obviously, the more you kill and the more you play, will give you powerful drops/ exotics.

I'm only getting repeat Exotics. Only thing I don't have (that isn't a Raid exotic) is the Trinity Ghoul. They supposedly fixed the repeat exotics, but not for me.

I got 2 exotics in 2 days with my Titan (one of which was forsaken and the other was not) they were both armor pieces. Then I decided to create a warlock and level him up and haven’t got an exotic since. Probably because I’ve only been playing through the campaign and not playing my Titan. That being said, tommorrow is reset day, and I will be playing my Titan tommorrow so unless I’m wrong I should get an exotic

It seems so, I dropped 3 on the first day of the dlc and saw many others have gotten several as well...since the start of forsaken, I've only run my hunter and all I need is oath keepers but I'm cool with dupes right now because of the power increase. I just wish I could drop some armor lol...all my weapons are over 620 but my armor is barely above 610

I got two duplicates (Fighting Lion and Young Ahamkara’s Spine) when I first started grinding Volundr Forge, and nothing since then. I am [i]not[/i] very happy as far as exotics go.

Zero exotic drops this week, not even a duplicate. Kinda draining for me, it sucks to do all the milestones in the hopes of a drop and I get nothing. I don’t want to play to get the exotics I want to play to use the exotics.

Since S5 started, I have gotten 5 Dupes, but also gotten Trinity Ghoul, Queenbreaker, Gwisin Vest, One Eyed Mask, Chromatic Fire, Contraverse Hold, and Phoenix Protocol. Of course, I have been grinding a truly absurd amount in order to do the raid. 639 Warlock, without having saved powerful rewards at all.

Not entirely sure, however i can say that last week i had approximately 6-7 exotics drop all except 1 were duplicates or year 1's. HOWEVER as of this week i have had 4 drop 2 of which were new Forsaken exotics. 1 of which was the 1 eyed masked which is all i really wanted so I am happy lol.

2 RepliesI think some classes have better RNG than others. I play on all of my characters, and I have: -All Forsaken exotic weapons except 1000 Voices -All Warlock exotics All but one Hunter exotics (missing Sixth Coyote but I don't care because it kinda sucks) -No Titan exotics #bufftitanluck

I got 3 this week (1 new) and the Coldheart catalyst (from NF). Before that I didn't get anything for a week, but the 2 weeks after the patch where they tweaked drops I got 5 drops (4 new).
