Bray tech rocket launcher frustrations
I only need this weapon to complete wayfarer triumph. I have run this strike 22 times this week and numerous times in the past. All of my fire team mates have gotten the weapon, one has even gotten it twice. 2 people got it on 1st run. Over 150,000 pts most times. I still can't get the weapon to drop. I thought a fix was in place to increase odds each attempt. Something needs to be done to insure drop after "x" number of attempts. This shouldn't be this difficult. Time could be spent on other things. Please fix this. BTW--i have never received any of the nightfall exclusive weapons.

You only need to get a high score once to permanently increase your drop chance for that specific strike. After you got a 200k+ highscore it only takes you 11 clears to get a guaranteed specific nightfall legendary drop (21 clears for exotics). Tested on multiple nightfalls in multiple weeks, this always holds true if you have a 200k highscore. Getting 200k on Nokris (Strange Terrain) is hilariously easy at the moment as it is bugged. You can increase the level handicap without it actually lowing your power. Thus you can always run with a 110 handicap for the extra 5x multiplier. Good luck and happy hunting!

4 RepliesI find these weapons to be excessively rare. Since strike drops were introduced I must have run hundreds of nightfalls, and I've only gotten the D.F.A., the shell, and Mindbenders Ambition and I only got Mindbenders Ambition because of that glitch that one week that let you farm the boss room without doing the whole strike over.

I having this issue too. I've run it 30 times this week and had 5 of my friends get it on their first run through and all I get are blue items.
